How can someone disappear so soundly,
Her trace was gone without a word
The soft meekness in her eyes lost entirely,
A melodious voice and kindness that pierced
The depths of a wretched soul and went ignored.

How could life, it's charm and essence be so costly;
The ghastly terrors strike when the least expect it
And the victims cling to both cherished and deadly:
It's depraved nature, and sinful beckoning
Oh, how death yearned for blissful company
It's longing strong in the depths of a dreadful abyss
Deeper than any chasm on this vast and time-bound earth
The lover of life will once see the end of it's unending silence
Just as my dear love was forever lost in the tearing darkness.
