Before I wondered if there was something more for me
A chance to grow old with her, loving our family

But plans change, she left before her time
Despite the thousands of days that she had spent with me

Regardless of the life we made for ourselves
Death didn't care much for our memories

Still in my heart I cherished her, I knew she was safe up above
It was our short story, a simple sinner falling for an angel

And I know she smiles down sat me
Staring deep into the pits of hell where I know I'll be
