     No one's P.O.V:
Bokuto took a deep breath and clutched onto Akaashi's teddy and some flowers he bought on the way. He raised his arm and softly knocked on the door, leading to Akaashi's room. The door slowly slid open and revealed Y/N with small stitches on her face, especially on her nose, where she got punched. Y/N looked at his face aswell, bruises, black eyes and many cuts. He smiled and tries to wave with his broken arm, which included a cast and brace. "Hey"
"Hey"
"How is Akaashi?"
Y/N looked behind her and opened the door wider so Bokuto could see. Akaashi had a tube in his nose and other various places, but he still smiled and waved at the owl man. Bokuto breath hitched seeing the condition the small boy is in, he walked over and handed him his teddy. Akaashi eyes gleamed and hugged Bokuto.

Y/N smiled watching the scene and heard another knock, she opened the door and saw her cousin, his husband and her ex. "Hey guys" She spoke softly, Kuroo and Oikawa gave her a big hug and went over to Akaashi. Tsukishima followed silently.

Akaashi smiled at the older men and talked to them, Bokuto sat on a seat next to Y/N and pulled her onto his lap and hugged her waist. Well tried to, with us fine arm. "K-Kōtarō?",
"I'm glad that the two of you are still here" He mumbled into his girlfriends shoulder. Y/N thought about what he said and gave him a quick peck on the lips, "We won't ever leave. I promise"

Bokuto blushed and hid his face on her back, Y/N giggled and pat his soft hair. "When do you and Akaashi get to go home?" He asked "It's been lonely without you two". Y/N smiled "We missed you too. We'll be back tomorrow, the doctors want to keep him in another day to make sure his lungs are functioning properly"

Bokuto nodded and thought to himself, soon a doctor came in and shooed everyone out of the room, saying that 'Visitor hours are over and they want to run another test'. Bokuto grab hold of Y/N's hand and asked "Do you want to go to the cafe while you wait?"
She nodded in agreement and went together hand in hand.

Next day:
The small family entered the house and heard Bokuto shout out "AKAAAAASSHIIIII!!!" He scooped the pretty child into his arms and hugged him tightly "I missed you!"
Akaashi patted his head and said "I missed you to papa" Bokuto gasped and hugged him tighter, tearing up. Y/N tapped his shoulder, "Sorry to break up the cute moment, but he'll need to breathe" Bokuto let's go and sheepishly laughs. Then he suddenly jumps up and runs to the kitchen, he brings out a cake. "Happy birthday Akaashi!"
