(Y/n)'s POV

I walked in the front door of my home and my home phone started to ring. I walked over and pick it up

"Hello?"

"Is this (Y/n)?" a male voice asked

"It is, can I ask who's calling?"

"Its me, Roy," he chuckled

"(Y/n)? Who's calling?" Hans asked

"Oh! Its a friend that I met today, he's a nice guy, he's teaching me another element of alchemy!" I answered my dad

"I was wondering if you wanted to meet up again? Maybe sometime next week?" Roy asked me

"Sure! Does Friday sound good?"

"That sounds great to me, I finish work around noon every Friday, wanna meet up at the cafe? The brand new one? At one o'clock?"

"Sure! I'll see you then!"

"Alright! Bye!"

"Bye!"

I hung up the phone and turned to look at my dad

"Dad? Are you okay?" I asked him, he looked scared

"What is his last name?" he asked

"Mustang... Why?"

"You can't go out with him! Our families hate each other!" he grabbed my arms and shook me

"Dad! Calm down, I'll be fine, its one day, and that was back when she was here, its all been forgiven and forgotten,"

"You sure? If you want me to I can co-"

"No! No, its alright dad, I can handle myself, this Friday at the new cafe in town, I'll ride my bi-"

"No, I'm driving you, there's a payphone nearby, you call me from that payphone got it? Or else you're not going anywhere,"

"Alright, you can drive me,"

Roy's POV

Oh god, is she here yet? Did she not show up like all my other dates?

A car rolled up into the parkinglot, I looked over at the car, nervous oh god, no this is not good, is that her? Or is that my ex? I was panicking, the passenger door opened and out came (Y/n). I could feel my shoulders relax a alot as I waved at her and she walked over to me and sat down

"Sorry about that, my dad is very clingy... it gets annoying sometimes. But I can understand, he told me our families hated each other at one point and didn't want me coming but I convinced him otherwise. Did you wait long?" she put on a fake smile 

I chuckled at her fake smile "No, only for about two minutes, I was studying but finished the book,"

"Well, I'm glad I wasn't keeping you waiting for to long,"
