How Brooke Krieger Came To Be

Day 4

I wake up and see that it's 9am. I look to my side and see no Kriegs. I run down the stairs quick to the kitchen to see if they were eating breakfast and they weren't there. Then as I start to freak out I see a note that says: "went to recovery with the team. Thought it'd be better if you stayed home and relaxed. You'll meet the team soon babes! Love Ali and Ash! Ps we'll be home around 9:15. We left at 7."

I went back to lay in bed. And I must've fell asleep because I felt the bed dip and I looked up to see Alex. "Hey!" I said and hugged her. "Hey B. How'd you sleep? We left ya here because we wanted you to rest," she says. "I actually slept great for the first time in over a year!" I said. "Ya. So wanna talk about what happened yesterday?" She's asks carefully. "No. I'm not ready yet. It's nothing against you guys I'm just not ready. I hope you understand......," I said knowing they might be a little disappointed.

Alex and I laid there for a few minutes until Kriegs and Ashlyn came upstairs. "Wanna watch a movie then go to lunch?" I ask trying to start a conversation. "Yessss," they all say. "Ok then after I want to go hang with my friend?" I say/ask not knowing if they'd let me or not. "Can I gooo with you pleaseeee," begs Alex. "Ummm I guess," I say kind of weirded out since she doesn't even know her. "Are you sure? You should let her go Alex. She's been stuck with us the whole week,"Ali says seeing my frustration a little. I nod in agreement. "Hey I'd love for all of you to meet her it's just she's not good with new people and you know you're all World Cup winners so I think it might fluster her a bit too much," I say hoping not to offend them. "You're right Ali. I bet that would be rough for you kid. Next time. Have fun!" Alex says.

We just skipped the movie and went straight to lunch. We talked about things and then when we got home I texted Amanda and asked if she wanted to go do something.

B: hey can we go do something and hang out?
A: yah what's wrong bk?
B: I've got a lot of explaining to do.
A: meet my place in 30?
B: sounds good.
