I Will Carry You

Part 11

Andy's pov

"Goodnight Andy," Eloise had said before she hung up the phone. I smiled to the thought of her drifting off to sleep. I plugged my phone into my charger and went to go get a snack. I rummaged through the fridge until I found where I stashed the last piece of pizza. Hearing the cheese sizzle in the microwave was very satisfying. 

Once it was done heating up I took it to my room and scarfed the piece down. I returned the plate into the kitchen and decided to get some sleep.

"Wake up!!" CC yelled as he was jumping all over my bed. 

"W-what?!" I said startled. "What time is it?" I rubbed my eyes.

"It's almost noon! How late were you up?"

I smiled to the thought of our conversation last night. "Ah maybe one thirty in the morning?"

"And what were you doing up in that hour of night?" CC asked all suspicious.

"I was talking to Eloise on the phone."

"ooo were ya now? How is she?"

"She is just fine. Except her step brother is not the nicest of people. His name is Elijah."

"Well I'll tell you why he is so mean...His name is Elijah," CC laughed.

"So why are you here?" I asked as I sat up in bed. I looked at the clock and noticed that CC was not joking. It just turned 12. 

"Ashley wants all of us to hangout. Apparently he met some cool people."

"Are you sure they are cool? They could be trouble makers for all we know."

"Just because Eloise is gone doesn't mean you can be a bump on a log, get your ass up!" CC yelled and grabbed a glass of freezing cold water off my dresser and poured it on me. 

"DUDE! Why did you bring that in my room." 

"I'm pretty sure that was self explanatory so, I will be waiting for you down stairs." CC said and skipped out of my room. 

"It's going to be a long day" I mumbled to myself.

"Took you long enough!" CC said as I walked down the stairs. 

"That was only around 10 minutes,"

"Like I said, too long. But lets go Ashley wants us to go to his house."

I followed CC out of the door and got into his car. Something wasn't right. I took a big whiff and the smell of flowers flew into my nose. I looked at the car vent and saw that he had a new car freshener. 

"Wow that's a first," I chuckled and pointed at the car freshener. 

"What? My car started to stink a little so I thought that would help. It obviously did." 

"Indeed," I replied as we took off. As he drove off I suddenly got tired. Car rides always put me to sleep. The sky was a baby blue and the big white fluffy clouds looked so comfortable. I soon drifted off but was quickly awakened when CC did a break check. I shouted in surprise. 

"Just wanted to make sure you were awake!" CC said laughing his ass off. 

"Yeah yeah I am awake. Now drive like an old person instead of a manic thank you very much." 

"Some old people drive through buildings....Want me to do that?" 

"No CC, drive like you did when you had your temps and always had the fear of a cop pulling you over."

"Noted." CC said. The rest of the car ride was silent besides the music flowing out of the speakers. I hummed along to the catchy tunes until we finally arrived to Ashley's house. We walked right in since we were all basically family.

Just a quick filler! Was planning on doing this update sooner but i've been so busy! Last week Saturday I performed at the ICHSA's with our schools A Capella group and we made it to semifinals!
