12AM, Night 2

Night two. It was supposedly slightly harder to endure, said by your fellow co-workers. Animatronics would get slightly more active and wander around the hallways more. So, you had to keep a close lookout for anybody who wanted to say hi in the middle of your shift. You noticed your friends weren't lying around this time. Some of them were more focused on their jobs this time. Fritz had stopped constantly fiddling with his phone and kept his eyes glued on the meter that showed the music box's music time. It seems to be running out faster than last night. Even Vincent was paying more attention to the vent and the sounds that might indicate that something's inside it. However, he always goes back to his phone once he had scared off an animatronic from said vent. Jeremy kept himself busy by occasionally flashing the hallway in front of you at certain time intervals. You would help by taking turns in checking. Scott did his job normally, with little phone usage. And Mike would keep us updated on the animatronics' whereabouts when they had moved or made a sound. The tension had increased since last night, that was for sure.

At around 1AM, after a few moments of inactivity, you let out a bored sigh. You hadn't thought the job would be this boring after one day. To be honest, you weren't really looking for the most exciting job to start with. In fact you were only doing this for the money, as you had mentioned before. But a little fun wouldn't hurt anybody, right? You hoped the night would end quickly. After checking the hallways, you put your flashlight down and rested your chin on both your hands with your elbows on the table. Your eyes drooped just a little, staring at the darkness that is the hallway, wondering what would lie beyond the pitch black abyss. Maybe an animatronic was already there, waiting for the right time to pounce on you. Just then, a ray of light went off from your right, piercing the darkness, showing nothing. Nope. I was wrong I guess. You wondered.

While you were watching the hallway uninterestedly, Mike glanced at you. He seemed to take note of your bored behaviour. Well, he had stole looks at you so often, but just to check if you were okay. He just looked at you and thought of a plan, smirking devilishly to himself. He moved over to Vincent and leaned to his face, or more likely his ears. Vincent immediately reacted and leaned away from Mike's incoming face. His face was purely priceless with confusion and disgust painted all over it. He DEFINITELY had gotten the wrong idea. He raised an eyebrow at Mike. "Umm, what the fuck are you doing?" Mike just smirked and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "Wha- WHAT THE HELL?" Vincent yelled as his white eyes grew wide. Everybody else turned their heads to look at the direction of the yell. Mike and Vincent froze and you just gave them questioning looks. Mike covered up fast and put his arm around Vincent, smiling. "Hey hey, it's nothing guys. Just wanted to check on Vincent's work." He lied. Poor Vincent just furrowed his eyebrows. The rest of you shrugged it off and went back to work. You rested our hands on your cheeks and stared into the dark hallway once again. Once all eyes were away from the pair, Mike turned to Vincent and shushed him quietly. "Stay quiet idiot! What the fuck did you think I was gonna do?" He whisper yelled. "You looked like you were going to kiss me!" Vincent mouthed quietly. Mike facepalmed and brought Vincent ears near to his mouth. "How about we scare Y/N?" That was all he said for Vincent to grin cheekily. The two nodded agreeing silently.

Vincent excused himself from the group. "Where are you going?" You asked. "Earphones." You looked him up and down with your eyes narrowed. Suspiciously. "What? You checking me out little finch?~" He smirked. You smiled lightly and blushed, quickly turning your head away afterwards. "Like I have nothing better to do," You mumbled, more to yourself.

Nobody's p.o.v.

Vincent went over to his bag and pretended to take out his earphones. He went over to the shelf in the corner where they kept a few spare animatronic masks and grabbed a Freddy mask. He glanced at Mike and slipped it over his head without alerting anyone. Mike reached under the table into one of the drawers and pulled out a tape recorder. In it was a recording of Freddy's scream, God knows why he had it in the first place. Probably to scare newcomers like Y/N. He even used it on Jeremy a couple of times, simply because he gets scared the easiest among the five of them in the group. Scott never approves of their shenanigans, but even he admits that they're a little hilarious.

Mike got the tape ready as Vincent crept behind Y/N. By then, Fritz caught wind of what was happening, but stayed silent. Scott looked over at Vincent crouching behind Y/N's seat and sighed. Y/N had her focus on the hallways for any intruders. Mike gave Vincent a signal and hit the tape. A loud shriek echoes off the walls of the office and the hallway and Vincent grabbed Y/N's shoulders, forcing her to face his face covered with the Freddy mask. Mike swore he had not heard anyone scream as loud as Y/N did that night. A little bonus included Jeremy screaming like a little girl as well. Vincent and Mike dropped to the ground, shaking and twitching with laughter. Fritz tried to hold in giggles while Scott looked plain pissed. Meanwhile, Jeremy and Y/N were trying to catch their breaths. Mike got up from the floor first, still chuckling, followed by Vincent. Scott gave them a glare and whisper yelled. "Are you crazy?! Who knows how many of them heard it! They're gonna head down here in no time!" He scolded the two. "Aww, come on Scotty, tell me it wasn't a LITTLE funny?" Vincent threw an arm around said person. Scott gave him a deadly glare and proceeded to check his vent. "Everyone, positions." He ordered. Mike and Vincent gave each other a look and went back to work. Fritz went back to winding the abandoned music box in time. Poor Y/N and Jeremy got to work as well, a lot more cautious than before. Y/N glanced over to Mike and Vincent and flipped them off. They smirked at her response.

Sure enough, a hoard of animatronics were heading towards the office. Everyone got to work. Foxy, Toy Chica, Bonnie and Freddy came stomping down the hallway one after another, leaving Y/N and Jeremy to fend for themselves in horror. Mike had trouble keeping up with all the cameras around the area with the animatronics behind his back. Fritz lent a hand by checking the hallways with Y/N and Jeremy, who couldn't seem to focus right after the prank, after winding up the box every now and then. Scott and Vincent kept checking the vents for trespassers. It was a rough night. At one point, Mangle almost managed to get inside the office, if it wasn't for Scott's quick thinking, and they got her to leave. After what seemed like an eternity, the clock struck 6 AM and they were allowed to leave.

By the end of their shifts, they were all tired and exhausted. This wasn't easy for the second night. Scott was annoyed at Vincent and Mike. But they couldn't care less. They kept talking about it on the way back to the parking lot, laughing every once in a while. The others were fed up with their nonsense, especially Jeremy and Y/N. Those poor souls were shivering the whole time.

When they got to their rides, Scott caught up with Y/N and Jeremy. "Hey take it easy. They've always been like this. Jeremy already knows their behaviour. But as for Y/N, I have to warn you. Just be careful around them, alright? Take care," And with that, he left for his car. Jeremy headed home too. So, Y/N was left alone. Mike headed up to her. "Heyyyyy, it was a prank. A harmless prank. Don't worry about it too much, alright Doll?" You winced at the nickname. "REALLY? OH I DON'T KNOW. WE COULD HAVE DIED OR SOMETHING YANNO? Don't you ever take things seriously?" Y/N asked him, a little irritated. She had meant that to sound sarcastic more than angry, but it came out differently. "Relax. Nothing happened, right? It's alright. Calm down." He took her arm gently. She instantly pulled back. "NO. We could have DIED. Get that in your head first. THEN talk to me." She responded. Y/N unlocked her car and sped off to her home, leaving Mike at the parking lot.

Reaching home, Y/N went inside and plopped on the couch face first. She groaned and faced the ceiling, tired. All she wanted now was some sleep. A soft buzz was heard. She glanced at her phone. A message. From Mike. Two messages. Three messages. Four. Five. It kept coming. She was too exhausted to reply. Y/N closed her eyes and let sleep engulf her. She could deal with that tomorrow.
