Kai's POV:

"You have to do it. It's an order." Tao yelled into my ear through the phone. "It's not a choice. Kill him or I'll kill you."

I sigh loudly. "Listen here. My body is already in bad enough condition. You know that guy has a gang! They will kill me in a split second!"

"I'll send Nakta and Jongup with you. They are the strongest of the gang. Don't fuck it up." Tao hung up the phone and I started to cry. He's starting to be more ruthless than before...

I hear the door unlock and Gianna walks in with a smile. "Long day at work with those guys. BTS I think they're called." She sighs, throwing her bag on the ground. "I missed you." She moves towards me, laying next to me. Gianna looks at my face and gasps. "You've been crying?"

I turn my head away from her, not wanting her to see me in a worse condition than I already am. "No." I simply respond. "I have to go work."

"W-Work?.." She bites her bottom lip softly. "I'll go do it for you. I'm apart of this too." I can see in her eyes that she had no interest whatsoever of actually being committed to this. To see her even considering this though...

"You can't. It's too dangerous for you. I have to do it." I sit up and groan. "Nakta and Jongup, the strongest ones, are going to help me." I cough out.

"You can barely sit up, Kai!" She whines, kissing my cheek and caressing my face. "Can I please talk to Tao? I have to. I have to!"

"It's fine." I sit up & groan. "Whatever happens, happens."

"Is that really all you can say right now? If you die, it just happens? If you die, you'd just leave me here all alone by myself?" Gianna had tears in her eyes as well.

"Baby, look. I chose this life. Sadly. I have to deal with the consequences and I know that. I don't want to leave you here, trust me. I love you with all of my heart. Never forget that." She hugged me tightly, starting to cry into my neck.

"Kai, I'm going with you. No objections." She assures me, pecking me on my lips. "We die together."

"Is this where he is?" Jongup asks me, looking up at the skyscraper above us. "He has to have hella men in there! There's no way the four of us can do this!"

"It was only going to be three of you, don't forget that either." Gianna replied crossing her arms. "Who even is this guy?"

"His name is Yongguk. He's one of Tao's rivals, as you can see. I don't think he paid him on time. And that means getting executed." Jongup replied to me. "Are you even trained to even be doing this kind of mission, Gianna?"

"N-No, I was kind of forced into this. I'm a fast learner so, I'll get the hang of i️t." Jongup nodded slowly and walked to the entrance of the building.

"Please act normal. We don't want to blow our cover. And make sure your weapons are hidden." Nakta pointed at me, gesturing to a switchblade on my hip.

I fixed i️t so i️t would be hidden and gave him a thumbs up. "I'm scared shitless right now, If you couldn't tell already." I blurted out. Nakta snorted and replied, "Need someone to hold your hand?"

"Yes, actually." I grab Kai's hand quickly. "Thanks for the suggestion." Kai let go of my hand, looking down at me.

"Nows not the time, baby girl." He chuckled at me. "When we walk out of here, I'll hold your hand."

"Well, this is the top floor. Be prepared for anything." Nakta warned us as the elevator doors opened slowly. There were two men standing on each side of a golden door.

"We're here to speak to Mr. Bang." Jongup said calmly. "We only need to talk to him about..a miscommunication with our boss."

"You really think I️ believe that bullshit? There's no way you're getting in here." One of the guards replied. All of a sudden, Nakta and Jongup hit both of the guards in their necks, each of them falling to the ground slowly.

"What the..." My mouth hung open. "Pressure Points?"

"Hell yeah, works everytime. But we have to hurry, they won't be out for long." Nakta kicked in the golden door and a bunch of men held their guns up towards him.

"Well, nice to see you here again isn't i️t? Traitor?" A guy with black hair and a bunch of chest tattoos said towards Nakta. "You brought some of your friends this time, I see. Who's the pretty little thing over there hiding behind one of your men?"

My eyes widened and I hid behind Kai even more. "Shouldn't have brought her here, she looks very afraid, Nakta."

"Look, Yongguk. You need to pay up. I don't have time for your little games today. Just give me the money, and we will leave you unharmed." Jongup interrupted.

Yongguk laughed loudly. "How about a little trade?" I could see the man staring at me with a slight smirk.

"We're not trading shit. Just give us the money!" Kai walked forward, leaving me behind.

"Aw come on, you guys are no fun at all. I'm assuming that's your girlfriend, hmm? Kai?"

"Yes, I'm his girlfriend. Just give us the money you fucker. It's not that hard."

"Wow, she has a mouth on her. One that could be quite useful as well.."

I start to get infuriated and I quickly take out my gun, aiming i️t at his head. "Give us the money. Now."

"Gianna..W-Wait." Jongup whispered slightly.
Two men walk towards me but I don't put the gun down, instead, when they got close enough I hit one in the mouth with my elbow and the other in his stomach with my foot.

"Damn.."Nakta said, He stood right next to me, with a hand on my shoulder. "You don't wanna mess with her, Yongguk. She's a feisty little girl. Wouldn't wanna make her mad now would you?"

"Here." He threw a suitcase at my feet & stood up quickly. "Boom."

Boom? What the hell? My arm was immediately grabbed my Jongup and we were all running down the stairs in a split second.

"It's a bomb! Run!" Nakta yelled, i️t seemed like i️t took us hours to run down those stairs but we finally made i️t to the bottom. We ran as far as we could from the building and saw the glass pieces fly down as the bomb exploded.

"He was trying to kill me.." I breath out. "He was trying to kill me! That son of a bitch! I'm going to make sure he pays for this!" I yell.

A white Jeep limousine speeds by as the windows roll down, gun shots flying everywhere. I duck immediately, covering my head as well. As soon as they were gone, I got up slowly, checking my surroundings.

Blood. There was blood.
