Conner's currently doing his homework downstairs. (Although struggling a lot with his broken arm) Albany decided not to bother him, since he actually looked focused for once.

Albany went up to his room, and immediately jumps onto his bed. It's relaxing, and she could almost fall asleep. Albany decides to occupy her time waiting for Conner by scanning her eyes around his room.

Conner's room is messy. Dirty laundry litters the floor of his room. There is not a single spit of clean carpet that you could see. A bunch of used and empty water bottle are stacked on top of each other in the trash can. The trash can is filled up to the brim.

When Conner gets too lazy to take out his trash, he does this thing where he starts stacking his trash on top of each other, balancing items and placing items where he thinks will fit.

Even if his bin is small, the trash can sometimes go up to about two feet long.

Tests, assignments and quizzes cover up most of his desk. His bed is unmade, and most of his bed sheet doesn't even cover his bed. His blanket is wrapped around Albany.

It pisses her off how there's only one blanket on his bed. She can't sleep without at least 3 blankets on her bed. Most of the time, she used four blankets, but the most she's ever used is six.

During the summer, the amount of heat Albany's trapped inside will make her use three blankets, and when that's too hot, she takes them off.

Albany then gets cold, and uses one blanket instead, (her favorite) and leaves the other two hanging. But never, ever, will she take the other two off.

There's a calendar on his wall too. It's still on the month August, meaning he hasn't even touched it in about two months. The last date he checked off was August 12th, and it's already September 28th.

Albany sees her name in orange on his door.

Whenever he has a friend come over, Conner has them write their name on his door. He has a collection of sharpie markers, and he makes them write their name in their favorite color. (Albany's favorite is orange)

Her name's first on his door too.

Albany (orange)
HADEN (all rainbow)
constantine! (green)
Phera Smith (red and pink)

The list went on.

Phera used to go to the same grade school Conner and Albany went to. She was good friends with Albany.

For Albany's birthday, she didn't want to have her birthday at her house, so she had it at Conner's.

Phera moved to Wisconsin in their last year of grade school. Her parents had recently divorced, and her mom ended up getting to take Phera with her to Wisconsin to start a new life.

It's too bad Phera didn't have a phone back then. Albany would've gotten her number if she did, but she didn't have a phone either, so there was no point. Haden and Constantine got a phone together for Christmas, and Conner followed soon after, with a phone for a present on his birthday.

Their parents had gotten Phera's mom's phone number, so when Phera moved, they all would have some type of way to be able to communicate with them.
