Subject - DisappointedSo a box did come on my birthday. But not on my doorsteps. On Mrs. White's doorstep.
You remember her right? Our neighbour.
Her husband worked as a FBI agent. He died. They brought him in a coffin yesterday. Seeing her crying hugging the coffin and begging her husband to wake up, stop playing games, shouting at him to think about their children, I don't know how I started imagining myself in her place. I could see myself hugging you and crying. Our children standing behind crying. When I realised what I was doing I wanted to slap myself for even thinking like this. I knew you were going to come back alive yesterday but you didn't.
Again you made me sleep with pain in my heart and a body longing for your arms warmth around it and tears in my eyes.
I don't know where you are. Do you how frustrating it is? Not to know where you are, what you are doing, you are alive or......
Once you come back , I am going to disappear for a week without informing you. Let's see how it feels. A part of my mind is always away thinking about your welfare. There is a cloud of fear hanging above me evertime. I am having nightmares.
You are being harsh on your wife.
If you don't love me anymore, think about our baby.
Come back Zane.
I am begging you, if you want .
Your baby's mother,
Grace.

Short StoryThe story comprises of emails send by a wife to her husband in army. Only one line as a description. Though the description is not all that fancy and descriptive, I am trying to do my best to make the story worth reading.... Do give it a try.....
