"Let me tell you something..." She whispered, slowly. "Our hearts are monsters. Hence why our ribs are their cages."

The midday sun was high in the air, and gleaming down in rays of light through the cloudless sky and onto the busy streets of Shizume. The glass skyscrapers glistening within the light, as people bustle through the streets on foot, or on transportation.

Some districts less busy than the high street, but the sun casting a beautiful glow over it non-the-less. The sea around the coast warm and the air filled with a pleasant scent.

However, inside Homra, its eerily quiet.

Oddly silent despite the amount of red clan members currently lounging around the bar or in their rooms on the upper floors. Some playing games on the console, while others waiting for the playing cards to be shuffled. An occasional yell escaping one or two of them.

None of them, seem to feel the deep sorrow lingering in the air.

"Mikoto..." Anna murmurs softly from her place on a bar stool, red eyes looking down to see her four marbles staying till on the wooden bar counter. Her red Lolita fanning out over the sides as she kicks her feet out slightly before pulling them back in a repetitive motion. An emotionless gaze as the marbles slowly twirl around. Snow white, straight hair glimmering slightly within the light that's getting through the windows.

"I'm afraid, Anna-san, Mikoto-san might not come down today." Tatara smiles faintly, appearing from the kitchen in behind the bar, having cleared plates from his half successful cooking. A tall glass of water in his hold as he slowly pulls himself up easily onto a barstool at the small strains' side. "It's best to leave him be for today."

"What!? He ain't coming down!?" Yata groans, in the mist of his yell, accidently having dropped his controller for the console, making him lose. The beanie slightly tilted to the side before standing up picking up hi skateboard that was at his feet. "How come?!"

"He will tomorrow, but probably not today." Tatara responds, spinning the barstool around so he's freely facing the area. His solemn expression setting worry throughout the members inhabiting the bar, for normally, he's cheerful, excited and worry free.

"Now that you mention it... Even Izumo-san seemed slightly distant." Masaomi Dewa mutters silently from the sofa in front of the window, Yo Chitose at his side, turns his head to glance at the long-time running member of the clan after placing the shuffled cards on the table.

The bar owner, seemingly out of sight, compared to normal when he's being the bar, stock taking, or ensuring his bar is kept in top condition from the younger clansmen. He would never leave the bar when the hyper-active members are in it.

"Why... Tatara?" Anna murmurs softly, glancing up to him with a tilted head. Yata leaping up and wondering over closer, followed by most of the main Homra clan members.

As thinking for a moment, he taps his chin. "Hold on!" Tatara chirps up, his solemn mood gone as he places his half-drunk water on the bar top before walking around and into the kitchen. The sudden scuffling of items behind the door echoes throughout the silent, yet tense room.

"What do you think he's doing?" Bando questions, stretching his arms above his head before adjusting his baseball hat and hood. He, was one of the few playing cards around the coffee table.

"Not a clue." Yata grumbles, rolling his eyes at Rikio whose stuffing his face at his side.

"I knew Izumo-san wouldn't throw it out!" Tatara grins, stepping back into the bar with a large cardboard box that's taped closed. The box, easily looking old and large, and catches their attention as he shuffles around the bar and carefully sets the box down on the ground.
