"Ready to go?" My boyfriend Clark called to me from the downstairs of my house.

"Yes! Hold on! I'm getting my shoes on!" I called back. After slipping on my shoes, I ran downstairs. "Bye mom and dad!" I called into the kitchen before I left.

I crawled into the passenger side of Clark's car.

"You look pretty." He said to me, smiling.

"And you look equally handsome." I replied. He really did, in his tuxedo. I was in a long, deep sapphire blue dress, with matching high heels. I was also wearing a pair of matching earrings and a necklace.

We were going a fancy restaurant for our 3rd year anniversary that had the name "Cognette's Sky Scene". It was an interesting name... Since it really didn't even have anything to do with the sky.

He pulled out of my driveway and out through my neighborhood. Then up onto the main road.

Clark pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant.

He looked over at me and grabbed my hand, then he leaned in and kissed me. Mmmm he was a good kisser.

He pulled back from me and stared out at the restaurant.

"I guess we better go in." He said to me.

I wanted to kiss more but I didn't want to say that. "Yeah. I guess we should." I said wistfully. I opened the car door and got out.

We walked to the restaurant doors, arm in arm.

He was such a gentleman.

When we walked inside the front doors, I was amazed at what I saw.

There were elegant, silver chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, which was very high. The tables were just beautiful and so were the chairs. There was a bubbling fountain in the middle of the dining room, giving off that relaxing, running water sound. In the back corner there was a violin and cello trio, playing classic and waltz music. Dressed-up couples were dancing around on the dance floor in front of them.

It was just so... Perfect.

"Oh my gosh..." I whispered. "No... This is... I love it." I said, smiling. I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him.

I was so happy. I could feel butterflies in my stomach.

We walked up to the hostess and she led us to our seat. We had a table at the back near the trio. Above our table was an abstract painting of deep reds, and oranges and yellows.

Soon, a waiter came and took our orders.

"Oh my... Clark. This is just... Oh my..." I said to him. I was still at a loss for words, but he understood what I was trying to say. "This must have been so expensive..."

"Only the best for you!" He said to me, winking.

After dinner, we went to the dance floor. The trio was playing a soft, smooth moving, romantic piece. We danced with the other couples, gliding across the dance floor like silk.

I stared into his eyes, and just got lost in them. They looked so deep and caring.

"Clark... I love you. I love you so much. I just... I don't even know what to say."

"Then don't say anything." He said, smiling.
