This Girl is On Fire

The ship was peaceful. For once there were no monsters attacking…well not yet anyway. Just in case, Frank and Jason were on guard duty. Leo and Percy were guiding the ship along. I guess even though it was a flying ship it was still a ship and Percy still had a lot of control over it. Percy was also the only other demigod that Leo would trust to steer his baby.

So while the boys were at work, the girls were down in Annabeth’s cabin enjoying some well deserved girl time. And by girl time I mean they were practicing their fighting skills. Annabeth was trying to help Piper improve her knife skills with Katoptris while Hazel was slashing a practice dummy with her Spatha.

Panting and sweating Hazel said,” you know this may be a bit more fun with some music don’t you think?”

“Sure. Why don’t you go turn on the radio over there?” replied Annabeth.

Hazel went over and pressed the on button on the radio.

“Oh, she got both feet on the ground

And she's burning it down

Oh, she got her head in the clouds

And she's not backing down”

“No no no no no! Turn that off!” shouted Piper.

Suddenly Leo burst into the room and sang off key and very loudly,” This girl is on fire,” he then promptly set himself on fire and started to run around the room singing the rest of the song. Even though Piper had managed to turn off the radio Leo would not shut up.

Hazel tried to cover her ears in a vain attempt to block out Leo’s atrocious singing. Piper tried to charmspeak Leo into shutting up but unfortunately he was singing to loudly to hear her. Annabeth ran and got a bucket of water and quickly dumped into on Leo’s head.

“And that is how it is done ladies,” Annabeth then went on to rest the bucket upside down over Leo’s head.

“You know if you didn’t want to hear my singing you guys could have just said something. Geez. You didn’t have to throw a bucket of water on me.”

Hazel and Annabeth then had to hold back Piper from attacking Leo.

Yes, yes, yes I know it has been forever since I updated this story. I also know this isn’t my best work. However bear in mind that it has been a while and I’ve never actually written something about the seven before so this is my first story writing about them. Also, this lovely idea was given to me by AFELIZE_907 whom this chapter is dedicated to.
