Now to the story

Your POV(9yrs)
I woke up to the smell of breakfast so I jumped out the bed and ran down stairs to the kitchen and saw my father sitting down cleaning his kunai "hey kiddo. How you sleep?" He asked me with a toothy grin. " it was ok I guess. Morning mom." I replied "morning (y/n)" she said with a smile. I was about to get something to eat when we heard screaming and loud noises. My parents ran and opened the door and we saw are people getting killed by Lin kuei. My father closed the door and grabbed my mom and me and took us up stairs. We went into my parents room and when we got in my dad went to the closet and pulled out a box."(y/n) we were going to give you this for your birthday but..." He said as he handed me the box. I opened the box and saw my own kunai.

(A/n) the tip of the kunai is blood red not blood.

I took it out and put it on like my father showed me. After I put it on the bedroom door turned in to ice and broke. When it broke I saw someone I will never forget or forgive.

He walked in the room as ice seemed to follow him. My father rushed over and tried to fight him but he just cut my father in half. My mom was frozen and couldn't do anything and... So was I. He grabbed my mom and ripped out her  head with her spine. Then he started walking towards me so I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I jumped out the window and kept running and I didn't look back.

I didn't try to help my parents I just ran away like a coward. I didn't even look back now I wish I should've.
