Ashlynn's P.O.V

I haven't even thought of where Max was staying. I decided to call him. It's been a week since I heard from him.
5 calls later
"Come on, come on, pick up, pick up!" Why isn't he picking up. Is he serious? I've called him and called him and texted him and texted him but still no answer. Grrr, I left him a voicemail. "Umm hey max it's me Ashlynn again. I miss you and I want to see you again please call me back soon. Bye" I ended the call.
Am I the only one who hates leaving messages?

I search my pockets for my phone. I sigh and turn to Jason. "Give me my phone!" I say holding out my hand.
"Sorry, I don't have your phone." He shrugged.
"Don't make me kill you," I say tightening my fist so hard that my knuckles turned white. I couldn't tell him the real reason why I needed my phone...
"Fine, fine." He leaned back and threw his hands behind his head. He moves quickly and pulls out a gun and points it at me. "Don't make me kill you."

I decided to take a walk. I shoved my phone in my pocket and headed in the direction of me and Jason's old play hut thing. It was an old abandoned hospital and we used to play a game where we were ghost hunters we called 'ghost collectors' Funny name right?
*A few minutes later*
I stopped in front of the building the memories of this building flooded into my head. Tears stung at the back of my eyes. I remember when I fell down on the floor and pretended that I got possessed, and Jason would pretend he was the priest person who gets rid of the- Gunshots cut me out of my thoughts. As always I would run inside. I saw max on the floor holding his stomach.
"Nooo!" I screamed. I fell to my knees and crawled over to Max. "Who did this? I'll call 911." I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and punched in the number.
"Jason," he said in the quietest voice ever.
"What?"
"Jason did this to me."
"No. No, he couldn't he's in Scotland. Isn't he?"
"No, he lied to you."
"He would never-" I got cut off by the operator repeating hello over and over.
Oops.
"Oh my gosh. My fri-boyfriend just got shot." I said trembling a lot. I put my hand on his stomach to help him stop bleeding.
"Ok just stay calm and tell me where you are."
"I'm at an abandoned hospital. There's a road called forest avenue just head straight and there's a path head down that path and you'll find it."
"Ok, the police are on there way. Keep presser on the shot."
"Ok thanks." I hang up and looked at max who was staring at me not blinking or breathing.
"No. No. This can't be happening. I don't really remember CPR." I thought back and remembered a little bit more. So I did CPR on him. "Come on. I'm not losing you." I said crying. "Do I have to do mouth to mouth?" Nope, he's breathing. Oh, my god, he's breathing. The ambulance is here. I ran down the flight of stairs and found the paramedics.
"He's up here!" I ran back up the stairs. They quickly but gently put him on the stretcher. They slowly walked downstairs and so did I and put Max in the ambulance and jumped in.
"He's going to be alright." One of the paramedics said, trying to comfort me.
I nod nervously. "Okay."
I hid my face in my hands and start crying. He's gotta survive. He's gotta.
We got out of the ambulance. Then rushed inside. They hooked him up to the heart monitor thing and told me to wait in the waiting room.
I fiddled with my fingers for what seemed like forever when the doctor came out. "you can see him for one minute." He gave me a sad smile and walked back into Max's room. I followed him. The doctor held the door open and gestured me in.
"Thank you," I said with a sad but polite smile.
He left and closed the door behind him.
I sat on the chair and grabbed Max's hand. "I'm sorry this happened. Maxy." I looked down.
Beeeeeeeep.
The heart monitor went straight. No.
The doctors and nurses ran in. "Go stay in the waiting room." One of the nurses said holding my shoulders.
I walked out and closed the door. I sat down in the chair and hid my face in my hands and cried.
