Ashlynn's P.O.V

Three weeks later.
I couldn't see Max until now I got the call this morning. I'm at the hospital now.
"Excuse me mam, are you with Mathew Willis?" The nurse was fairly happy.
"Mathew? Is that his real name?" I asked. And last name? I was going to say but didn't. How could I be his girlfriend and not know his real name or last name? Mathew Willis.
"Yes, his parents came in and told us his real name."
I thought... Max's parents didn't care about him why would they come see him? Whatever...It doesn't matter.
"But left right away. Anyways are you with him?" She asked.
"Yes." I sniffled.
"Come with me."
I followed her into Max's room. I saw him laying there with the heart monitor zigzagging. I covered my mouth with my hand and cried with tears of happiness.
"I'll give you two some privacy you get 2 minutes." She walked out and closed the door behind her.
I walked up slowly to his bed. I sat down and grabbed his right hand and started rubbing the back of his hand with my thumb. "I wish this didn't happen to you. I was so stupid when I got mad at you over the breaking up over text. I should've been more forgiving." I paused. "The truth is I didn't care if you were a killer I loved you and still do." I sighed. I was holding his hand now. "I'm sorry." I tear fell onto his hand.
"It's ok." He managed to say.
I smiled.
The door opened and the doctor walked in. "Your times up."
Well, that was kinda rude like seriously there's something called knocking! "Ok. Bye." I kissed Max's forehead and left. Max got shot at the side of the stomach thankfully it didn't hit any of his major organs.

911 dispatchers. Aka Jason's mom. P.O.V (She doesn't know what Jason did yet)
"911 what's your emergency?"
"Help please someone's breaking into my house. I'm all alone!" The girl said sobbing.
"Okay, okay. Where are you?"
"1237 forest Avenue." She said really quickly.
" Olay the police are on their way. keep calm don't talk. Go lock yourself in a room."
"Ok, I'm in my room."
"Ok, stay as calm as possible."
"Okay."
We stayed silent for a few minutes until we heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
"Shh. Shh. Stay quiet. Get under the bed."
"Okay, I'm under the bed."
I could hear the burglar opening doors. Then I heard the door handle raddled. It stops.
"He's gone." The girl whispers.
"What is your name?"
"Kacy Willis. He's coming back." Kacy says. "He's unlocking the door."
I hear the door swing open. Kacy screams.
I could hear the burglar breathing into the phone. "Please. If you hurt that little girl..."
"Don't worry." He says.
Jason. No, it's not him. Of course, it's not him. The voice was so recognizable.
Call disconnected. I raked a hand through my hair and sighed.

Policeman's P.O.V
•••I broke down the door that led into the house of Kacy Willis.
We split up and looked through the house. Pointing our guns in every room we entered.
I sighed and dropped my gun to my side. Yes, there was Kacy's body sprawled on the floor bruised, broken and barely breathing.
"Officer Hunter. There has been a break in. In your house." I say into the walky-talky that was strapped to my shoulder.
The ambulance was just outside. I picked her up and ran out to the ambulance.
