It's been 2 weeks since the reeping and Gabe and Justin were going to be put In the games tomorrow! I was still really upset but, I managed to convince myself not to cry and to help them.
The next day, I was sitting at in the sponsors commons, a huge room with tons of tables. All the sponsors sat at the tables with little tablets. Vic and I each got a tablet. How this worked was we had to tap the picture of the person we wanted to sponsor, click on the item we wanted to give them and stick the money for it into a money slot in our tablet that fed it to through the table to the center. Oh and we also got to write a short message. I went to click on Gabe but then I noticed Justin was sitting in the sun about to collapse so I decided to send him something. I clicked his picture and clicked on the icon that said water. It asked me what size I wanted to send. I was about to send the large but then Vic quickly said, "A lot of water is good but he also needs to be able to carry it in his pack and run or fight if he needs too," That made sense to me so I decided on the medium canister. I clicked it and put the money in. Vic and I had found jobs and we were payed really well. I wonder if the others in the other districts had that luxury too. A minute later, a box was dropped infront of Justin. He opened the box and looked in. I had sent him a note saying,'I'm here to help-K'. A smiled crawled onto his face when he opened it and realized what that was. He took a small sit and put the rest I hate his pack, my guess was he was saving it for later. The setting was a dessert. They had put my two best friends in a dessert!! I would have killed the person responsible if if I wasn't too occupied with saving my friends lives. We sat there all day sending items.

I could tell that Vic and Kellin were watching us but how were they sending us stuff? My pack was still half full after everything they sent. They had sent me a sack of food and I was starving so I decided to get an apple out of it. The sack consisted of 2 bananas, 3 apples, and a container of soup. I had managed to get my hands on a pack of throwing knives, a sword, some rope, and a bow and arrow. of course I also found a pack. Kellin and Vic had been a great help, I still have some of the water they sent, although more would be nice, and a good supply of varying types of medicine. Gabe was with me, we decided not to split up after we found eachother in hopes of making it easier for Vic and kellin to help us. We hadn't seen anyone in anyone while but a voice rang out saying there were 5 of us left. I don't know how many of us there were at the beginning but I'm pretty sure it was a lot more than 5. Either way Gabe and I kept walking. We decided to try and hunt someone down to help us survive the other 2 afterwards. We had noticed a smoke stack and figured we would try there. We made our way through the forest and almost got there when we heard rustling In the leaves behind us. We both swiftly turned around and I grabbed my sword. I scanned the area and a girl walked out right in front of me.
"Justin? Gabe?" Kailey said shocked.
