Nico's POV

Do you guys drink fire instead of water down there?" Percy asked absentmindedly as he played with my fingers, studying them curiously. He never seemed to want to let go of my hand since I offered it as a sign of trust to him, but I couldn't say I minded.

We were sat on our beach, our shoes off and my jeans rolled up, letting the cool sea lap at our feet. My leather jacket lay discarded a few feet away, leaving me in a short sleeved black v-neck.

"No, we have water like you guys too." I chuckled as Percy dropped my hand, sitting up with his legs tucked in underneath him.

"I can't believe you're here, you know" He murmured, his beautiful sea green eyes scanning my hand carefully. Then he made eye contact and, damn, I hadn't ever felt as nervous as this. "I can't believe you're actually real. I never thought I'd be so damned as to meet a demon."

"And I never thought I'd meet an angel. Yet here we are, Percy. Also, what do you mean damned?" I faked hurt.

He smiled, "Sorry, that's the prejudice speaking. I mean, everyone around me has drilled it into me that if I ever met a demon, that was it, my vessel would be dead. But here we are."

"Yeah." I agreed. "I was always told to kill. But I don't think I could get ten foot near you."

Percy beamed. "You've learnt well."

"I'm glad to hear that." I smiled. "So, are we cool?"

Percy tilted his head to the side. "What?"

"Are we friends?" I rephrased.

Percy took a minute, but then nodded slowly. "Yes, we are."

I grinned. "Fantastic."

"Hey," Percy slapped my arm playfully, "adding to that, I have terms. Just 'cause we're friends doesn't mean you can go around telling your demon friends that you've got an Angel friend, cause I'll kill you. Two, come at me when I don't know you're there, and I'll kill you. Three-"

"I breathe, and you'll kill me." I finished for him with a smile so hard it hurt my cheeks.

"Correct." He rolled his eyes, and we lapsed into silence. However, it wasn't the silence where both participants were comfortable in their own heads; Percy was still majorly uncomfortable.

"You're still uncomfortable." I stated.

He shifted around, definitely uncomfortable. "I'm not."

I sighed and stood up. If he wasn't going to get comfortable on his own, then I'll help him.

"What are you doing?" He asked quickly.

I yanked my shirt up and over my head and threw it next to my jacket. "I'm going swimming."

"What?" Percy spluttered, his face going red as he scrambled to his feet.

I unbuckled my belt and kicked off my jeans, next, and tossed them to the pile of clothes. "I'm swimming."

I was fully aware that I was only now in my underwear. But did that faze me? No. Cause what am I? An incubus. And what do we do? We fuck people senseless. Being almost naked isn't a problem.

I walked into the water until I was knee deep. "You coming?"

Percy was stood there with his mouth hung open. "Uh, um- I don't know-"

"Come on, scaredy cat." I grinned and splashed him lightly.

He wasn't scared of the water, I knew that because he didn't flinch when I splashed him. So I did it again.

"Stop it," Percy giggled. Giggled. This angel had me soft and I'd only known him a day.

"Come on, little angel," I coaxed. "It's not like you can drown."

"It's not the water," Percy crossed his arms. "It's the massive weir thing in it trying to call me little."

I had to laugh at that. "Aw, come on, Percy. Otherwise I'll splash you again."

Percy took a moment, but then pulled his tunic up and over his head. And then he stole my breath.

He was slender and toned, with zero scars on his beautifully tanned skin. God really did a good job creating him.

He walked confidently into the water, his eyes trained on me, making sure I wouldn't move. We were both deep enough now that the water was at waist level.

"Now what, since this was your genius idea?" Percy raised an eyebrow with a smirk.

"Now, we swim, Perseus. Relax." He rolled his eyes when I called him by his full name. And then, just when he turned his back to swim away, I splashed him.

He spun around and glared at me. "Do you want to fight?"

I grinned. "Bring it on."

-

"Why are you blushing, little brother?" Bianca asked as she looked up from her book.

"Hm?" I looked up and over to my big sister, "What did you say?"

"I asked why you're blushing." Bianca giggled, setting her book down. "Who's the lucky mortal?"

"No mortal, Bianca. Try more divine, more godly." I rolled my eyes as I watched Bianca gasp.

"An...An angel?" She said, her lips curling into an open mouthed, unbelieving smile as she leaned into our conversation.

I nodded. "His names Perseus."

Bianca wrinkled her nose. "Why not Percy?"

"That's exactly what I call him." I chuckled. "Anyways, he's literally the embodiment of goodness. He's got literally unblemished skin, Bianca. Not even a scratch. Tanned, too, unlike the others. He must go to earth a lot. And God, his eyes are the loveliest shade of green, almost like the sea itself it trapped inside of them. Constantly swirling with emotions, feelings. He's beautiful, Bianca."

Bianca rested her head on her fist, smiling. "Would I be right to state that you two will end up having sex?"

"What? No!" I spluttered.

"You've gone even redder," Bianca snorted. "you're just proving my point here, brother."

I knew I'd gone redder. But she didn't need to acknowledge it.

"Anyways, I have to go out on a job." Bianca stood and walked over to me, kissing my forehead gently and smiling. "See you tonight, Nico."

She went to walk out of the study, until I called back out to her. "Bianca?"

"Yes?" She popped her head back in, arching an eyebrow.

"Do angels sleep?" Do not even ask. Yeah, I'm an incubus. I give people pleasure in their sleep. I'm only asking to see if I could visit Percy tonight, not have sex with him. Nope, no way. He's pure. I can't.

"How else do you think they heal their physical forms?" Bianca winked, and then in the blink of an eye she was gone.

Fan-freaking-tastic.

Compared to the newer incubi, I practically had my dream travelling perfected. I didn't even stumble when I eventually found Percy's dream and then walked into it.

Sleeping, he looked perfect. His hair was tousled and his mouth was parted slightly as he drooled. He was amazing. I don't know how any demon could hate such pure beings like angels, and I didn't understand how angels - who are portrayed to be so forgiving and loving - could hate demons with such a passion.

"Percy," I whispered softly, smiling as the angel stirred and looked up at me with tired, sea green eyes.

Said sea green eyes widened as he sat up in bed, looking at me in shock as he yawned quietly. "Nico?"
