Damn Gemma, you screwed up again. "Damn Gemma, you're just a worthless piece of shit, don't even know why your mom let you come to this world." I felt a sting that hurted like hell, I touch my cheek and it's red. My dad had just slap me, "Now clean up." I quickly cleaned up and went to my room.
A week later I was sitting in the couch watching TV, when both my parents walked into the living room my mom was crying and my dad had a gun. I was about to run to my mom when he pointed the gun at me, I cried and then my mom ran to me. "I'm sorry I made you and my baby girl feel unsafe with me. I'm leaving and it's for good." I was going to run up to him when the gunshot was heard and I fell to the floor crying my dad had just shot his sled in front of me. The police and ambulance came, they asked questions and then the ambulance took my dad.
A year later my mom met a man who she wouldn't stop talking about, even though I was just 7 I knew my mom was in love. I got to meet him and his son Carter, we instantly click and became Friends. We moved with them in Atlanta and after that they got married and we have been living happily.
CARTER P.O.V
I came home from school, since my mom forgot to pick me up again. I asked one of my friends if his mom could take me home and she gladly agree. My mom spent her time out of the house, she went clubbing, spend time with fiends. She never took care of me, I learned how to make my own meals at a young age. My mom never paid attention to me and if she did she would slap me and say, "You were a miss grace to me."
I walked inside to see my mom with her things and was about to walk out the door, "Mommy don't leave, I promise to clean my room and behave my self." She hugged, for the first time she hugged me and said, "Baby I'm sorry but I'm not a mother to you, I treated you wrong and hit you." She walked out the house and I tugged on her short so she won't go when she put her things in her trunk she pulled my arm and slapped me across the face. She backed out the drive way and never came back.
A year later my dad met a lady, he had fallen on love with her, being 7 I thought I wouldn't understand what he mental when he said that she was the most beautiful women he everlaid eyes on. We went to her house and I met her and her daughter Gemma, we instantly became friends. My dad asked her to marry him and she said yes, he asked her to move in with us back home in Atlanta. Since then we have been living happily ever after.
