I moved around in my bed glancing at the clock. "7:45?" I said out loud calmly. I glanced at it again. My eye widens realizing it was 9:45 and school opens at 8:30. "Oh shit" I said out loud rushing out of bed, going into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth then took at shower for 10 minutes. After that, I quickly moisturized my skin and put on my black "killin it" t shirt with my acid wash jeans and my wolf grey 12's.
I ran down the stairs and grabbed my house keys and left. 3 seconds later my phone buzzed.

Deja, destini,and I both hated Ela. Shidd we hated all subjects but our math teacher ms fray was chill as fuck, we love her and that's about it. But aye we only have one month until summer. And the thing that gets me pissed off is that when it's august. The school be sending letters about school supplies and be like " we hope you guys had a great summer"

Our school wasn't far at all. It was 4 blocks away from Me and Deja's house but let me tell y'all.. they are not just regular blocks they were a long long walk.

I didn't respond after that so I continued running for my life. 6 minutes later I was in school walking quickly to Ela. When I reached there, I knocked on the door and watched as kelvin dumbass got up.
He smiled and gave me the finger and cracked the door open. "what's the magic word" he says. " I'll shove my finger down ya eye and make it's way to your lil dick" I glared at him.
" call me daddy then I'll open it" he says "you wish" I said pushing the door and him otw and got in as the whole class laughed. "Fucking thot" I heard him say lowly.
"What. Say that shit again so I can smack the sense out yo damn forehead" I said walking over to him. "Bitch shut the fuck up, you ass is softy the frosty you ain't gon do shi--" he got cut off
"SIT DOWN BOTH OF YOU,don't make me call y'all parents" ms Boston yelled at us. We both walked over to our seats but I sneaked and slapped on the back of his head.
"Now, Davionne you've been late three times in a row what's your excuse now" she says curiously.
I scratched my braids for lil bit
"You see..what had happen was I Needed To Pray To God For Strength To Get Me Through This Class" I said.
The whole class busted out laughing and sincere "the class instigator and duck rider" was being mad extra.
"QUIET DOWN NOW!!" Ms Boston yelled again.
We got silent. "Davionne, since you are being a smart Elliot. Why don't you be smart and come write down your moms phone number"she says handing me her phone.
