"It's time we told her the truth." Jane said uncomfortably as they waited outside Mal's room for her to calm down from her fit.

"What! Are you insane? Do you really value your life so little? Doing that is like signing a death contract." Uma said appalled that Jane would think of something like that.

"Well what's the worst that could happen? She gets mad and throws things at us and them throws things at Harry. But that's really it right? She can't exactly reject the betrothal if it's already been sealed right?" Evie states as they all imagine how Mal might react to the news that she was all but betrothed to the son of her moms greatest rival.

"Well there is a slight possibility that she could reject it, but that would cause a war." Jane said casually. Noticing that the other two girls were staring at her in shock she quickly rephrased it to "a minor clash of houses."

"Okay, so either tell Mal and risk her wrath for a few hours? Or don't tell her and risk her wrath for a few days?" I'm going with the first one." Evil said Jane and Uma nodded.

"Mal? Can we come in?" Jane called tentatively through the door. "You don't need to tell me I heard it ALL." Mal said as she opened the door and stormed past.

"When I get my hands ... slimy little ... I sear i'll ..." they heard her muttering as she stormed down the halls of the ancient castle.

A quick glance at each other sent the girls racing down the halls after their seething purple haired friend.

The dining hall went silent when the young heir bursts through the doors just about ready to blow her top.

"WHERE IS HE!!!!!"

The entire table froze as well as the servants attending to the large amount of nobility gathered around the table. Harry gulped. This was not likely to turn out in his favor. The young heiress marched over to the seat her fiancee was occupying and slapped him in the face. Protests sounded around the room as a few people rose from their seats. they stopped at the sight of the young girl shaking with rage.

"How dare you. How dare you mess with my head. How could you do that knowing that i would someday be forced to marry such a dick!!! i will never ever in all my years marry such a person  like you."  she said as her anger spilled into her words. " NEVER."

Then she spun around and ran from the room. Harry sighed. he had failed once again. he would spend every life of his chasing after his beloved. Always messing it up. Never could his soul rest in peace. He would have to wait and try again in another life. he stood up from the table and left. The stares of his  fellow nobility followed him out. Passing the guards on the way  out he called for his carriage to take him back to the empty manor he once called home.

As the door swung shut the silence that had decedent on the occupants of the council chamber broke.

" How dare she walk out like that!"  was the shrill cry of the lord hook. " The manners of that girl are absolutely horrid. If she does not agree to the betrothal than the house of hook will no longer abide the rules your's has put down. If our conditions for our agreement are not fulfilled than they will no longer be liable."

The chamber itself seemed to gasp at his announcement.

" You would do no such a thing."  said the lady of the house  of fey in a chillingly threatening tone.

" I would and i will if your brat doesn't honor our agreement. I will give you three days time or my men will be marching to your castle. Three days." and the lord of the house of Hook, one of the most noble houses stormed out of the chamber leaving the threat of war hanging like an axe over the head of every occupant.
