i woke up like normal, my alarm going off and making my day already bad. i press the stop button on my phone and crawl out of bed. i walk into the bathroom and look at myself. a mess like usual. i ran a hand through my hair and took a deep breath, and exhaled it slowly. "today will be a good day kian," i said to myself.

half way through brushing my teeth i heard my phone buzz.

jaysee: morning, have a good day at work 💕

i smiled at the small gesture and replied quickly:

ki: morning.. can't believe you haven't stopped talking to me yet. new record 🤙🏻

i finished putting my clothes on, and checked myself in the mirror one more time. not that bad. as i grabbed my keys and ran out of the door into my car, i repeated that today was going to be a good day. my music blasted in my ears on the way to work. i stepped inside of the big building and prepared myself for another day of tiring work.

TIMESKIP

i was having my lunchbreak when my phone buzzed again. this time displaying a new message.

jaysee: why would i stop talking to you??

ki: because i'm annoying.

jaysee: you're far from annoying. how's your day been?

ki: good. i'm on my lunch break. what about you?

jaysee: me too. i'm glad we have the 'same schedule.'

i sat my phone down, pleased with the conversation, as i didn't seem too clingy. i worked on a few things before getting told that someone was going to fill in for me and that i could go home. i smiled to myself and left the workplace, the same music still blasting in the car. i arrived home and sat down in my bed. i played music and jammed out for an hour or so before my phone buzzed, once again. a small smile made its way to my face as i unlocked my phone.

jaysee: i'm off work.

ki: wow you didn't even add in a 'babe'

jaysee: what do you like that nickname ;)

ki: of course not. just, different.

jaysee: your different.

ki: you're*

jaysee: if i ever see you in public i swear i'll yell "you're a grammar nazi," at you.

ki: too bad. i never go out ;)
