Still in silence.

It seemed to suit them better.

The boy had stopped crying.

And yet the occasional wracking sob left the boy's body.

He patted the boy's arm slowly.

Trying to comfort him.

Eventually all the crying stopped.

Suddenly the boy sat up, crawled to the corner, curled up and cowered away from him.

The silence was so deep, so strong that he felt scared to break it.

It was not like the time of the roof all those ours ago.

It was tense.

Awkward.

He wanted to say something.

He didn't know what.

So instead he just watched to tearful blue eyed boy, his heart throbbing.

Because he couldn't help.

Slowly, he moved closer to the cowering, shaking boy.

His face morphed into a comforting expression.

The boy shook less as he neared.

He touched the boy's arm.

Gently.

Carefully.

Almost as if he was afraid the boy would break.

He cautiously pulled the boy into his arms.

The boy did not struggle.

He wrapped his arms around him.

Their bodies slid into place.

They were perfect.
