CHAPTER 7

CAM POV...

I wake up with this groggy feeling and when I look to see where I am I see that I am on the couch I touch my head from the slight head ache I have but I feel normal I guess then I get these surge of memories from when I was a kid and having the ability to use lighting at will I look at my hand and try to push the power out into the palm of my hand and when I did I lost control and shocked myself. I looked up to see the laughter from my uncle and aunt.

They wiped the tears from their eyes saying you look just like your father trying to show us a new move he just learned always hurting himself. I laughed at that and I remembered something. Mom Dad I have something to tell you as well. They looked at me with a worried expression on their faces I looked them in the eyes and said that I'm graduating early. they looked at me with a proud look and asked when I said when all the seniors who are graduating early next week.

They hugged me and told me they were happy and proud of me. I got up and told them I was going o go out and go for a run. They said ok and to be back in two hours for dinner. I went up to my room to put on some basket ball shorts and a t-shirt I walked outside and started to run without my wolf speed I like to train myself without it so if anything happens I can be ready for it if I cant get in touch with my wolf. he grunted after I thought that. I went to push myself then let my wolf speed loose.

I started to pick up pace and I jumped into the air and shifted into my wolf and ran deep into the woods where I know my pack wont be able to see or find me I stop at a safe spot and shift back to my human form. I stretch my hands and try to feel for that power again and I felt it come so I tried to direct it to a tree and it hit it. with a big smile on my face I did it so I practice that for 30 min until I got the hang of it and it tried to wrap my body in the lighting but I ended up shocking myself again. So I made a promise to myself that I will practice just that until I don't shock myself anymore while trying to use my ability.

I practice until I have about 20 min until dinner and shift again to get home so my aunt wont get mad that I was late to dinner. The rest of the week goes by quick and the next thing I know its time to take the finals and the dance is two days away.

Alex and I plan on going to the mall to get our outfits for the dance. I get ready and go to the school with Alex at my side ready to take the test we get put into the auditorium to take all our finals. after we are done we are allowed to go to lunch and eat and go home and wait until the Friday the day of the dance for the results.

We go to the mall and I pick out a blue button up with some black slacks and blue and black shoes while Alex goes with black slacks and a red button up. I drove. Alex home after and decide to train some more I have been getting the hang of the whole lighting thing over the week well to control it maybe not enough to be able to use it at will though. I practice for a hour and head home and get ready for dinner.
