You live in a society, where if you have not found a partner by the age of 16, you will be forced to go with someone. Most of the time, you will also be forced to impregnate/be impregnated as well.
Gay couples aren't an exception. Either you will not be counted as a couple, or they will consider you mentally ill, and slaughter you.
Mentally ill people are considered a burden, the only ones acceptable are ones that don't affect your daily lifestyle.
Those who have mental illnesses that would put them in a mental hospital would be executed. Those with minor anxiety, sure. Those with major anxiety, if it starts becoming a problem, then no thanks.
Depression, if it starts affecting things, is a no.
Anything that would be considered a "burden" or "disruption" is a no.
Now here is Adrian. A nice boy. Has social anxiety, not so major. He's smart, has brown curly hair, and a slightly tanned face. He's had at least 3 girls throw themselves at him. He's kinda short as well, with lovely green eyes.
Then there's max. He's sweet as well, if you get to know him. He's put a major wall on tbe rest of the world, and only the people he loves get to know him. He's got a harsh mental illness, that constantly prevents him from going to school, because if they found out he would be a goner. Tall, longish brown hair, pale, brown eyes.
Both boys are gay. Do they know each other? No. Are they both single? Yes.
Then there's Christine. Tall, not so elegant, and beautiful. Quite funny, hangs out with a lot of boys. Half of them want her, but she doesn't want them. She is very lighthearted, has blue eyes, dirty blonde shortish hair, pale skin, and freckles.
Jane, shy, smart, wears glasses. Doesn't fuss over boys. Has two good friends. She's of the average height, has cute short orange hair, green and hazel eyes. (She has mitochondria.) She has a temper issue, and is also quite chubby.
Christine finds it adorable.
Jane is a closeted lesbian. Christine is as well.
Christine is single, and is slightly crushing on jane.
Like jane even knows her existence haha..
Well she kinda does.
Jane is 15. Christine is 15. Max is 16, going to be paired soon. Adrian is going to turn 16 soon, and is scared. Max is horrified, as they're going to probably execute him. Why? Because of his mental illness.
