Chapter 10

*Ems POV*

OMG what happened? what did he do? is he ok? is he alive?

"What happened?" I asked Jacks dad.

"He was walking across the street and got hit by a drunk driver. Right now he is in a coma and the doctors are saying he should wake up soon. I'm just really worried and his mother is out of town on business and I just don't know what to do, I'm sorry for telling you all of this" he says

"No sir, it's not a problem. I'm not really one of his close friends but I will try to contact his girlfriend and tell her. Just remember everything is gonna be alright and think positive. I will call back after I call Jessica just text me what hotel you are at" I said rushing my words. I got the text.

I immediately find Jessica's number in my contacts. I don't even know how I just do. after the second ring she picks up.

"Hello?" she says unsure.

"Um hi, I'm sorry to bother you but.." I try saying and she cuts me off.

"I don't want to listen to a slut like you." she says

"Well I'm sorry you think of me like that but I have something important to tell you" I say getting impatient.

"I don't care about anything you say" she say agressivly.

"Ok but Jack is in the hospital." I say slowly so that she hears.

"WHAT?!" she screams.

I tell her everything I know and tell her to go to the hospital. I have her the address and she was off.

Honestly I would have wanted to go but we aren't really friends and that would just be weird.

*Jacks POV*

The last thing I remember was crossing the street and then everything went black. as I am slowly opening my eyes I see a figure sitting beside my bed. it's a women's figure and the first thing I think of is Emily. I still can't fully see so I decide to ask.

"Emily?" I softly say.

Just as I say that the figure stands up and runs out of the hospital room. wait I'm in the hospital? what is going on.

Oh fuck. that was Jess.
