i don't do well in performing
and visual art isn't easy
but words are an art form anyone can master
and while i'm no master
i like to think i have a way with words
at least in writing
in the real world i do good to have a conversation
but i can write for hours
words are a world i love to get lost in
again and again each day
like how eyes can capture your heart
sometimes you'll fall in love with an art
the art of words is no less an art
than the portraits that hang in museums
though words are often under appreciated
and taken for granted
we all have an unending need for them
some people just don't know it
i don't do well with speaking
but give me a pencil and paper
and i can say so much more
i don't have a way with words
i know
i'm no inspiring poet
or amazing author
but i try
and i love words more than i love myself
