Okay, guys, this chapter is not part of the story a
little about me is I just met someone amazing so I feel all lovey-dovey and I'm going to write about it.
BTW this will be about a year before Sarada and boruto started dating
Boruto: "I'm so close to Sarada I just want to get closer to her."
Sarada: thinks to herself "OMG Boruto is looking in my direction I wonder if he'll invite me to the first kage festival."
Sakura: "Sarada why don't you invite Boruto to come to the festival with us? I know he likes you he's like Naruto with being obsessed but his mom without being able to tell.
Sarada: "Mom... I asked him out on a date a few weeks ago, and he said he was busy..."
Sakura: "BORUTO!" *SMASHES GROUND*
Sarada: "Mom you're embarrassing me."
Boruto: "What Sakura? I didn't even do anything.. oh and Sarada I have a question to ask you.. so um you know that I won't be able to go to the festival so I was wondering if maybe I could go with you.."
Sarada: "yeah sure only because we are teammates."
Boruto: "yeah... exactly my thoughts too I guess."
Sakura: "ahh so you're playing hard to get."
Flash*
Sakura: "Hey Sasuke did you come for the festival?"
Sasuke: "No I came to give you two something it's a necklace I made one for each of you. It has my chakra infused with it, so if ever something happens I'll know to protect you. And Sarada tells me if Boruto tries anything funny and I'll wipe that smile off his face."
Sarada: "thanks, papa but we're just friends right now."
