Aomine and Kagami walked out of the doctor's office, Kagami was smiling the whole time. Aomine laughed as they walked outside, taking hold of Kagami's hand. He smiled at his lover, "I can't believe we're going to have twins."
Kagami let out a giggle, looking back at Aomine, "It really doesn't feel real."
"We should celebrate," Aomine held Kagami's hand a little tighter, grinning at him.
Kagami's brow furrowed, "You do remember what the doctor just said about being careful."
Aomine rolled his eyes, "I meant dinner." Although he couldn't deny that he had thought of something more too. Kagami was just so sexy and to know that he could carry twins... Kagami's body was so alluring to Aomine. But he didn't want to hurt Kagami or their unborn children. Going to the doctor today made Aomine realize how close they were to being parents. Aomine wanted to be the best dad, he wouldn't let anyone be a better father than him. Aomine tilted his head to the side as he and Kagami kept walking, he thought out loud, "Should our kids call you mom or dad?"
"What?" Kagami's voice raised a little, gaze boring into Aomine.
Aomine glanced at Kagami, moving his free hand to rest over Kagami's abdomen, "Well you are carrying our babies."
Kagami's face turned instantly red. He dropped his head down, staring at Aomine's hand. After a long moment, he rested his free hand over Aomine's hand. "I guess we'll figure that out. I don't know..."
"Yeah, we'll think about it later," Aomine pulled on Kagami's hand. He pulled him down the street to a nice restaurant. It was Kagami's favorite place that wasn't fast food. "Come on, let's get some dinner."
"Are you sure?" Kagami furrowed his brow, looking up at the restaurant front, "This place is kind of pricey."
"Don't think about it, we're celebrating," Aomine smiled and walked inside, Kagami en tow, "You like this place, right?"
Kagami nodded, "I do... I just can't help but think that twins will be twice as much as one kid..."
"It's just one dinner," Aomine walked up to the waiters' stand, asking for a table for two. The waiter smiled and showed Aomine and Kagami to nice window table. As they sat down, he smiled at Kagami, "Besides we're on spring break now. Plenty of time for us."
Kagami laughed a little and smiled back, "Yeah. But don't you still have practice over the break?"
Aomine looked out the window, shrugging a little, "I was thinking of quitting when you did."
"Why?" Kagami leaned forward, "And when were you planning on telling me this?"
"I just think I should get a job," Aomine still didn't look back at Kagami, "Basketball takes up a lot of time..."
"I know you'll get scouted to go pro, and that would pay better than any job you get now," Kagami reached out to touch Aomine's hand, "It's your dream."
Aomine let out a sad laugh, "That could still take years..." He looked back at Kagami, "And isn't that your dream too?"
Kagami dropped his gaze, "It's not my only dream. I always knew that I couldn't have all my dreams come true anyways."
"You have to give up so much for this..." Aomine turned his hand to hold Kagami's tightly.
Kagami shrugged, still looking down at their hands, "Doesn't mean you should give up your dream too."
"You really are an angel for being so brave," Aomine reached up to touch Kagami's cheek.
Kagami shook his head, looking back up at Aomine, "I'm scared shitless, but I have you."
[an: I hope you like this update and the feels! Do you think Aomine should stay on the basketball team or get a job now?? I'd love your thoughts!]
