Aomine was pissed off.  He was sitting alone at a table on the other side of a crowded cafe.  He'd followed Kagami here because this wasn't the first time Kagami told him that he couldn't be with him for a couple days, but it sure was going to be the last.  He'd only waited a few minutes after Kagami left his apartment before he got ready and rushed out the door after him.  He kept his distance, Kagami didn't seem to have any idea that his boyfriend was following him, and Aomine wanted to keep it that way.

He just couldn't help thinking that Kagami was having an affair or something and maybe he was meeting the other guy here at this cafe.  He didn't want that to be true.  Even though he and Kagami had only been dating a few months, they both seemed so happy together, he didn't know what he'd do without the redhead.  They'd gotten together right after graduating high school and they had so much time together before they started classes and basketball in college.  He'd spent every day with Kagami until one day late in the month, Kagami told him that he couldn't come over for the next three days.  Kagami had some excuse about family visiting or something, so Aomine hadn't minded it.  But now this was the eighth time in eight months that Kagami's used the same excuse to get three days away from Aomine.  Aomine just had to know what Kagami was up to.

Kagami was finally leaving the cafe after his extra sweet, strawberry frappuccino was ready.  Aomine chuckled to himself, this guy had such a sweet tooth.  He followed Kagami out of the cafe, walking down the Tokyo streets where they were going to college.  He kept walking to a smaller neighborhood on the outskirts of the city, Aomine hadn't spent much time here before and he'd certainly never seen Kagami come here before.  He wondered what was here.

As the sun was starting to set, Kagami started running.  Aomine wasn't sure why, he just seemed worried that he wouldn't get wherever he was going on time.  After several blocks, Kagami stopped at a small house, pulling out keys from his pocket and unlocking the door.  Aomine's jaw dropped.  Kagami had keys to this place did he live here?  Kagami was practically always at Aomine's apartment, classes or the basketball court, he'd never imagined him living anywhere this far out from the main part of Tokyo.  Kagami disappeared inside, shutting the door behind him.

Aomine needed to know more.  He went up to the mailbox in front of the house, luckily there was some mail in it.  He pulled it out and looked at the names of who the mail was addressed to.  Sure enough it was Kagami, but it wasn't only Taiga Kagami's mail.  Aomine saw the name Izumi Kagami on some of the envelopes.  Just who was she and what was Kagami doing here living with a woman?  They had the same last name...  The only family Kagami talked about was his father in LA, never his mother or any siblings.  Aomine's throat went dry.  Did Kagami secretly have a wife?

Aomine had to know, but he wasn't about to just knock on the front door and ask him.  He put the mail back and went to the window, the curtains were slightly pulled back and he could just see into the living room.  There was a woman sitting on a couch, reading something.  She looked older, like twice the age of him and Kagami.  Was his boyfriend secretly married to a cougar?

"Mom!"  Kagami's loud voice echoed through the house and outside.  The woman sitting at the couch stood up at the call and went further into the house.  Aomine's eyebrows hit the ceiling.  Kagami's mom was in Tokyo and he was living with her?  He had not expected that.

He went back to the street and used his phone's GPS to pinpoint the address and saved into his phone.  He didn't want Kagami to find him lurking around here, no he'd come back tomorrow and surprise his boyfriend.  He wanted to have the upper hand.
