Team 7 Again (Rewrite)

I quickly prepared the guest room for Sasuke and started to warm up a bath while a clone was playing with the twins. I tied an apron around my waist and started to get a pot out of a cupboard to make a quick lunch. But before I could even place the pot on the stove, someone knocked on the door, which I assumed was Sasuke, so I yelled "The door is open!" I could hear the door open and close from the kitchen with footsteps quickly following. "Sasuke! Just place your bag on the sofa! I'll show you your room later!" I exclaimed as I started to fill the pot with water. I could hear a faint "Hn." coming from the other room, which made me chuckle. "If you don't mind, can you watch the twins?! Their in the second room on the right!" I shouted, since the clone was slowly draining my chakra. I never got a response from that.

After I finished making my lunch, I set a plate full of food on the table and brought another one with me. I went to the room where the twins and Sasuke were in and told Sasuke that lunch was on the table. He left the room while I carried the twins to my room to get their meal from the mini fridge that was placed in the corner of my room. I made a clone to heat up the bottles with a basic fire jutsu before feeding Daisuke while the clone fed Sarada. I assumed that Sasuke already knew what to do with the dishes and decided to go to sleep since I had a long night ahead. But I didn't get any sleep due to crying babies and lots of dirty diapers, which was what I wanted the sleep for. So instead of trying to go back to sleep, I decided to go out for an early morning jog, which happened to be at 3. I put on a black sports bra and black exercising pants that stop at the middle of my shins. I didn't want the twins to bother Sasuke so I dressed them in warm clothes and put on two baby carriers on, one on the front and the other on my back, for them to sit in while I run. So basically I would be in between two babies until I had to go on my mission, which started at 6. I locked the door behind me and headed to the local park so I could do some basic jogging and train, if I got the time that is. I made it to the park in no time and started to make my way around the main area, only stopping to make sure the children were comfortable and to adjust the carriers into a more bearable position.

Sasuke POV

I heard the door close and the sound of the lock clicking shortly after. I couldn't sleep because I was still trying to process the fact that Sakura had children. Even though I don't show it, I'm really shocked. She's a few months older than me, but she always followed the other girls in the academy when it came to me. I never thought that she would get over me that easily. After thinking more about the matter, I decided to get out of bed and explore her house since I would be staying there for who knows how long. The laundry room was right next to mine with the shower next to that. The toilet was at the end of the hallway, next to a storage room. The nursery was connected to Sakura's room, which was right across from my room. All of the rooms downstairs, were just the basic room in a normal house. The fridge was even full, despite Sakura being on missions 24/7, which was surprising to me. Even the pantry was stocked up with canned food and other dried things, most of which was tea and coffee, anything with caffeine.

I got hungry while I was exploring and decided to make something to eat, but this was someone's house and it would be rude to touch other people's things. So I ate tomatoes instead. But after exploring the house and eating, there was nothing else to do, so I made the difficult decision to head out and look around. I grabbed a jacket and headed out, making sure I locked the door behind me. I followed the local road to an empty park. I sat down at a bench and looked around, spotting Sakura running towards my direction.

Sakura POV

I was on my 8th lap around the park when I spotted Sasuke sitting on a bench. I stopped in front of him and asked, "Why are you up so early? You should be asleep." He looked at me and said, "Hn, I could ask you the same thing." I made an annoyed face and stated, "I couldn't sleep so I decided to go out and run. I didn't want the twins to bother you so I brought them with me." "Hn...Couldn't sleep." he said in return. "I was just about to head back, do you want to join me?" I asked as I started to walk away. He stood up and trailed behind me as I made my way onto the empty street. The walk back to my house was silent, only the sound of crickets filled the area. I unlocked the front door as soon as we arrived at the house and headed to the kitchen to fix some breakfast for the both of us. Although it was still pretty early to be having any food, I believe that both of us would be busy later on. He didn't say anything, but his actions showed that he actually had feelings. He came up to me and motioned two the two baby carriers still strapped onto me. I understood immediately and began to undo the front carrier, handing Sasuke the sleeping baby. I did the same with the back carrier. Then Sasuke walked out of the room with two sleeping babies in his arms. I smiled at his kind gesture and went back to preparing breakfast.

20 minutes later, I went to find Sasuke to tell him that the food was ready. I found him asleep in his room with the twins in his lap. I smiled and walked over to him, taking the twins off of him and gently nudged him with my hips. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at me. "Food's ready." I said as I tried to balance the two babies in my arms. He saw what I was doing and immediately took Sarada out of my hands. "Thank you." I said as I adjusted Daisuke in my arms. Together, we made our way to the kitchen to eat. Let me just tell you that their was an awkward silence during that short period. But at the very end of the meal, Sasuke said, "The babies are cute." It was was very sudden and unexpected statement. "Ummm......Thanks?" I said, unsure if it was a compliment or just a conversation starter. "Their beautiful, like their mother. Whoever's the father is luck to have kids as beautiful as them." He continued. All of this surprised me. "I......don't know who's the father." I admitted while I looked down at my lap. "It was so sudden. I didn't have anytime to react. They just threw a bag over my head and the next thing I know, I was tossed into a dark room. For months and months, I was held captive and experimented on by Orochimaru, who I later found out was behind my kidnapping. Then I felt two other chakra signatures in the room with me and I knew that what ever they did to me made me pregnant. For then on, I did everything I could to protect my children. But then one day, the left, the whole hideout was empty. That was my chance to escape, and I took it. I was so weak from not training and eating. Once I got the gates, I fell to the ground. The next thing I see is the ceiling of a hospital room with two baby cribs next to my bed. And when I saw their faces, I knew that I did the right thing. I protect my kids like a mother would. They saved me." I explained with tears filling up my eyes. We didn't talk after that.
