Hey guys! I just had a new idea and thought why not make a book out of it. Check it out! :)

I get up from the chair slowly. The dull black and grey walls of my little cubicle surround me in a little cocoon, shielding myself from the darkness around. My hands shake slightly as I gather a notebook and a pen exiting the little room.
I walk down the labyrinth of aisles in nervous stops with the dagger like stares from my colleagues on my back following me to the grey metallic door looming in front. Lifting my hand, I knock gently on the door. Hearing an affirmative to enter I open the door entering the black and silver office room.
This room always amazed me with one whole side of it holding a huge bookshelf filled with various transcripts and published books. Each holding their own rich story to tell. I gazed longingly at the top most shelf reserved for only the best publications till date voted by the office. There were only ten books up there that warmed the heart of the office with an interesting read. It was an honor to have your book up that shelf. Because if you made it there... you could make it anywhere.
Turning my gaze away from the bookshelf I looked at the voracious woman sitting in the middle of the room. Various transcripts and sticky notes hiding the black colour of the desk. Her glasses sat on her nose eyes in concentration as she scanned the text before her with a fountain pen twirling from her fingers. She looked up when she heard the door close. Her blue eyes gleaming as she took in the woman in front of her.
"Adelaide! Just who I wanted to meet. Come sit, girl." She waved her hand towards the seat. I walked to her and took a seat on the black cushioned chair. After getting comfy enough in the seat I looked at my boss in expectation.
"Well you see Adelaide, I got an interesting assignment for you. In recent news, you may have heard of a boxer, Azrael Knight, hitting the top ten list of boxing champions and also being the most eligible bachelor in London." She said in a slight squeal looking at me expectantly like I should know the news to which I nodded slowly not sure where she was going with this.
"Well seeing how popular he is becoming I want you to meet him and write his story. I want to know what exactly it is that makes him so him, what lead him to become a boxer, what inspired him, what troubles his soul and just everything about him. I want you to capture every moment of his life and put it in a book to showcase the world the amazingly sexy man that he is." She ends of with a dreamy sigh gazing out the window with her hand underneath her chin. The drooping of her shoulders with her sigh caused her glasses to drop from the tip of her nose to the table breaking her day dream.
She turns her sheepish gaze back to me only to widen in slight concern at the wide eyed shocked look I give her at her given assignment. She goes to say something but I interrupt her.
"I'm sorry, I think I may be hearing things a little wrong today but did you just say that you want me, the awkward wallflower, to write a story on a boxer against all the other highly eligible people on this floor?" I ask her pointing a finger at myself in disbelief. Finally understanding what I am worried about, Ms. Darcy Banks gives me a warm smile.
"Silly girl, of course I want it to be you! I have seen your work Adelaide and I know how hard working you are. That is why I am giving this opportunity to you. There is no one in this office who works as hard and as efficiently you do. And I know for a fact if anyone can get through the thick skull of this it would be you." She told me reassuringly patting my hand before retreating last minute giving me a small smile.
I return the smile with my own but my mind keeps reeling on the fact that I am finally getting an opportunity to write a book after working for two years in this company. Though writing a book on a person and boxer no less is not my cup of tea but I think I should seize the opportunity while I have it. Who knows when the next one will land on my lap?
