{11 years later}

“ESTELLE!!” a really loud yet chirpy voice screamed, I felt my bed go down a little as someone started to jump on my bed “Wake up! Come on! Im going to be late!” rolling out of bed I groaned looking at my little cousin Jessica who was pouncing on my bed up and down with a massive grin.

“What are we going to be late for Jess?” I asked as I walked over to my dresser grabbing a hair tie, I tied my blonde curls into a messy bun “My school trip! Please hurry up Estelle” I nodded my head I pinched her cheek walking into my bathroom. Stripping down I turned on the hot water i walked into the shower letting the hot water run down my body.

It has been 11 years since my parents had died, I still remember the night where my parents were arguing and I decided to walk down the stairs to see what was happening and that’s when I saw my dad pull the trigger of his gun and shoot my mother, then shoot himself. After my parents died I was moved to Florida to live with my aunt Chelsea and her daughter Jessica.

Being a 5 year old was hard; living without my parents was even harder. Aunt Chelsea wasn’t really a good role model that I could look up to, I mean every night she would leave me and Jessica alone with some random babysitter; she would go out clubbing and would come back at midnight drunk as.

Growing up without parents or a role model was hard, but on the bright side I had made some great friends that have truly changed me for the better and let’s not forget high school. Where most of the drama ad gossip happens, thankfully I had never been one of those gossipers in school. In fact I was one of the most envied girls in high school known for my good looks, intelligence and kindness I had every guy wrapped around my finger not that I liked it.

One of the greatest friends that I had met was Claudine another one of the most envied girl in school. You know with her blonde hair, green eyes somehow people thought we were sisters because had the same coloured eyes and hair but we were best friend. Claudine was very much like me as a matter of fact we both were into the same stuff and both had the same personality and as Claudine puts it we have a crazy, sassy personality.

“Estelle!” I squealed snapping out of my thoughts as there was a loud knock on my bathroom door “Yes?” I heard some movement “Hurry up! Jess is going to be late” I rolled my eyes at my aunt Chel and quickly washed my hair and body. After washing my hair and body I turned off the water and wrapped a white fluffy towel around my body stepping out into my room.

I quickly put on my black lace underwear and bra followed by a pair of skinny washed blue jeans and a white tank top that had ‘SEXY’ on it in big black blocks. I put on my black converse and my black leather jacket and started to dry my hair.

Drying my hair I left my hair naturally curly and started on my make-up, as it was school I put on some light make up. Starting with some eyeliner followed by some mascara, I applied some blush pink lip gloss and smiled at myself in the mirror.

I walked out of my room grabbing my school side bag I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen “I already made you coffee” Jess smiled at me as she handed me a mug that was filled with coffee “Thanks Jess” I took a sip of the coffee grabbing some toast of the counter I opened the jar of Nutella I made a quick Nutella sandwich.

“So Jess, where are you going?” I asked as I took a bite out of my Nutella sandwich, Jess smiled at me as she took a bite out of her egg omelette…ewe I hated eggs and cheese. “As part of science studies this year we are going to the institute of technology” I nodded my head as I finished off my sandwich “That’s cool, I remember when I went on that trip last year”  I chuckled remembering how me and Claudine got lost and went on the wrong bus, good times…good times.
