Darkness

The Darkness envelopes me like a blanket

It's my home

Our home

It's the only thing that comforts us

When there's no one there

But it's so cold here

It's so cold that I can feel icicles form

Around my heart

But I still take the Darkness

To swallow me up whole

We think there's nothing in the Darkness

But there is

There's so many things in there

So much you might just drown

But you live

There's so much pain in there

For me

Sometimes I go back and watch my memories

Play upon the projector screen

It hurts

But that's why

I love it
