Rain drops ( drop tops)
More rain drops .
Sky becoming darker and darker as I watched the various shades of darkness in the sky (50 shades of ....you know you).
The wind was cold as it swept pass by me leaving my skin to contract and shiver .
I was walking alone in an unfamiliar environment. I was stranded. Not even a single car was in sight. Just tall buildings and tall trees.
The silence of the neigbourhood disturbed me.
It wasn't normal. It was like everybody was asleep.
Only the sound of my high heels echoed.More drops.
I was beginning to get scared. I picked up my pace. I think I'm lost. I slept throughout the 1hr drive from where I live to Ayman's house, so I dont remember how we got here.
Stupid girl.
I was truly lost. I've been walking for more than and hour now without a single trace of life.
What do I do!?
Im the typical type of girl that cries when scared or when I'm heart broken.
I remember Ayman always freaking out whenever I start crying. He said my face looks the ugliest when I cry. He already says I'm ugly so that's just a bonus.'Don't cry please or I'll start to throw up,' he'll say.
And funny enough I always cry just so he'll throw up.
I'm starting to get really scared.
Ya Allah help me.
Just my luck the weather got worse.I looked up the sky and I knew it was just the beginning.
The street was deserted, at least, at least I'm safe from hooligans.
My Aunty told me, immediately I entered Abuja 'don't trust anybody.'I was shaking and hitting my motorola phone against my palm
'Come on work, please.'The battery had ran down a long time ago just when I needed it the most.
The last number I dialed was my Aunty's. I called to inform her that Ayman wasn't home and that I'll be on my way home soon but she never picked up.
So all in all, here I am in the shallow, deserted streets of Abuja. Lost and soaking wet and nobody to help me.
This can't get any worse.
Or so I thought.
Let me explain how I got to this distasteful situation.
I'm a new person here that's obvious. I'm actually from Kaduna which is like roughly a 3hrs drive to Abuja. I came by train and yes, I enjoyed the luxurious new traveling medium.I've never been on a train before so the station and booking was all new and over whelming to me.
I've got an Aunty that stays here. She and I are very close. In fact, I consider her my second mum.
I arrived 6days ago to enjoy my 3rd term holiday(I don finish WAEC) or at least to have a change of environment. Kaduna was starting to annoy me.All I do is wake up, cook food, clean the house, watch my Korean movies and sleep (again). I loved my life like that.
But soon enough I got bored of the same walls. Thanks to my best friend Ayman, here I am in Abuja to visit him.
