I Lost A Part Of Me

Part 2

          One day I received a phone call coming from a friend.

Phone ringing...

"Hello?"

"Hey Erine, how are you?"

"I'm good, still looking for a job though"

"Well, I guess this will be your lucky day my dear friend" she chuckled

"What do you mean?"

"I heard that Call center company is hiring as many applicant, you might get the job you know."

"Do you think I can do it? I'm not good at grammar."

"I'm aware but this is not a writing competition Erine,  you get to speak to a live customer." We both laugh , she's definitely right about it

"Your such a b**ch debbie,  but thank you. I'll get myself ready okay? Let's hope for the best."

"Hahaha sure, I'll see you around Erine. Goodluck"

   Debbie is my friend, we had this moment together when I was still working at DSWD. Yes, I use to work there with contract, so you know why I'm looking for another job. I better get ready and dress up like a pro, I'm going to knock them with my interview(laughing).

    While I'm on my way to where debbie is, my mind keep clouding on the possibilities that ; what if was able to graduate would my life be better than what I have right now? Normal question of a person who wasted too much chances in life. I know that I can no longer go back to those time no matter what but it's never to late to make it up,right??

     Anyway, I can see debbie across the street smiling wide at me and I smiled back ..

   "What took you so long to be here?"  I can feel her excitement like she's much excited than I do.

"So long? We were just talking 2t minsan ago, hahaha are you excited for me debbie? It feels like you can't wait for me."

"Hahaha you bet Erine,  common let's not waste time chatting here and let's get started." Oh my, I still want to take time in since it's been so long since the last time we had this conversation but I guess she wants to know the result so be it. Good luck

     There are a lot of applicants practicing to how they will answer the questions of the interviewer.

"Are you scared?" She's suddenly ask

"NO,I guess I can do this." And the she laugh at me.

"Are you sure?" Laughing

"Hahaha Erine,  it's obvious that you're the same with all of the applicants here. Don't be nervous okay? I believe that you can get the job easily."

"I really hope so debbie."

    Debbie is really supporting me and lifting my confidence, I hope I will not disappoint here. I know she wants to help me and I appreciate that effort but the confidence that I have earlier is slowly melting like and ice cream, it's intimidating here knowing that there are a lot better than me.

      After 30mins of waiting for my name to be called.

"NEXT, Erine Rees"

"OH MY GOD! This is is debbie."

"GOOD LUCK ERINE"

    Here I am taking one step inside the for corners of the most feared space of all applicants.

   "Please sit down" then I tried to sit uncomfortably

   " just relax we are not going to bite you." Shit! Am I that too obvious, my heat is beating fast. Oh please not now .. I might not get this job

  "Okay let's start"

    Oh gosh . Please be nice to me ... oh I'm gonna cry ... wait I'll make the proud.. I should.. let's make then feel I'm confident

   "Okay, I'm mark. I'll be the one to interview you, just do you best okay?"

   "Okay"

   "So now, tell me about yourself."
