Sasuke's POV:- As I woke up from the dream and flashback , I saw that my daughter , Sarada , sat beside me with a worried expression. "What's wrong?" I asked her . "Nothing, it's just that lately you kept having bad dreams and then fall sick so suddenly .." she replied. I smiled and told her , "rest assure, I'm fine " . "I never asked if you were alright" she answered, then I heard Sakura chuckling. I just pouted and Sakura came in and sat beside us. "Papa, can you tell me the story of the Uchiha clan's downfall ?" asked Sarada politely. I smiled then I just look above.
"You see , Sarada..." I began then I told her all about the clan's history . "Ooh" she kept saying that until the end of the story whilst Sakura was there , smiling . "Papa, what was your goal when your clan had been slaughtered?" She asked . I replied , "At first , my only goal was to kill your uncle , Itachi. But then , when I did kill him and found out the truth, in my mind was that I'd destroy Konoha , but deep inside , I wanted to restore my clan.."
"Say , Sarada , have you ever wondered why we named you 'Sarada'? Which means 'salad'?" Asked Sakura. "Eh!? My name means 'salad'!?" Replied Sarada in confusion. I smiled and said , "Sarada, it's true your name means 'salad' but-" I then got cut off by Sarada who said , "why 'salad'?" in disappointment.
Sakura and I then smiled at a confused and disappointed Sarada. Sakura then told me to continue what I was saying. "Now, back to 'salad' , you see , it does mean salad . And "why?" you might ask. Well, it's because your full name , Sarada Uchiha means Sarada-yu , which means oil . And oil is used to light flames ; Sarada you are the oil for recreating the Uchiha flame.."
Sarada then blushed and smiled , so did Sakura. The three of us then laughed , then Sakura and I made fun of Sarada for her name, which means 'salad'.
I then realized that I truly love my family ; the family that created me and the family that I created.
