"Well this weekend guess who I hooked up with!"

Great another party she must've been too. Must be nice to have such a great social life like hers. Actually I take that back , mine isn't so bad , I get to stay home and watch Movies with my cats ... yeah I'm a cat mom.

Note to self: perks of being my friend, I have no social life so we can hang out whenever it's most convenient with you... with my cats.

"Who?" Yep there goes my famous eye roll.

"Josh! Aaaaah I'm so happy! He finally noticed me for once!"

Or noticed the drunk you. I'm just saying.

But being Leigh she obviously doesn't except any compliments from anyone, and thinks she is so shit and lame but reality she is too naive to believe that.

"But I thought you wanted to get smashed this weekend with me? And pull Dale?" I ask kind of confused with where she is going with this.

"yeah okay I did, but Skylee you know that I have had this crush on Josh for years now and now, he finally likes me back!"

Well in all honesty, I'm not going to bitch down on her with questions and how she changed her mind so quickly about Dale and getting smashed

( smashed: aka getting fucking drunk)

She's my best friend and has been through tons of shit, with her trying to find herself and half the time every Monday morning her coming to me and crying because of all the shit that happened on the weekend with her parents. So that's why I'm always here for her, because I need to keep an eye on her so something like the night of the 15 of February doesn't happen again. I try and forget what happened that night, because every time I think of it, I just tear up.

"Ah girl, I'm so happy for you! Spill the details! " I say trying be supportive, because for once this is the first time she is actually smiling on a Monday.

"Like Skylee for once someone actually cares about me you know"

"Oh, okay then, so I was just your back up plan? I see where this friendship lies." I tease with a smile on my face.

"No man! You know what I mean!"
She sways across me like she's drunk.

"Like you know, boys would usually kiss and diss me..."

" um actually that was you , you went around kissing boys for fun! I'm surprised you haven't I'm surprised you haven't caught any fungal mouth disease!"

I give her a look and laugh.

" Skylee! "

She gives me a little pinch on my arm and laughs with me.

" but yeah as I was staying , Josh wants to meet up again ! So I'm excited to see where this goes!"

She claps her hands together in excitement.

"But it was so annoying because this one guy was trying to get with me and kept coming behind me at the party the other night, pervert."

" yep typical fuck boy." I roll my eyes looking down on the floor.

Fuck boys. Those typical boys who use their dick as their brain. And sleep with anything that is female. Unless... yeah. They always like "Her expectations are too high. She wants a guy that will genuinely love and respect her like what the fuck that's too much bro?!"

Basically.

"Well Leigh in that case, I need to tell you something." Shit I hope she doesn't blow out because I'm canceling our weekend together. To go a spend it with Seth, I mean my brother. Wink wink.

"I'm going on this trip with my brother and Seth this weekend. It's the only time I'll see him in a long time."
I almost whisper.

"No that's absolutely fine girl! I was going to see Josh anyways so I would of had to cancel too."

Thank the holy pope.

"Agh okay great!"

I let out a sigh of relief.

"Walk out with me when you done Leigh!" I shout walking to my locker on the other side of the room.

I enter the code for my locker and open it.
I chuck my books on the top shelf while spotting some colourful paper marked

" To Skylee  "

That's strange I wonder who this is from. I turn it over and see it's from Zayne.

*Hey Skylee! I know it's Monday and shit but I have some exciting news! You can't tell my parents though, I'm going to tell them everything this weekend. But this weekend Jared asked me out! I finally have a boyfriend!"

Oh wow. Two of my friends are getting boys out her when it's not even February the month of Love ?
