*8 minutes later*

Now I’m at the community park. No doubt the neighborhood was very quiet today, the park is fully packed. I stood there for a while looking for an empty bench I could sit. Finally I located one under a tree, off I went to sit.

As soon as my butt hit the seat, a ball came crushing into my knee. My head immediately shot up ready to attack the person with my words. All my eyes could settle on were two innocent faces with fear in their eyes. My heart melted for them. How cute they are, I totally forgot the pain in my knee. Oh my, these two are just adorable. At that moment I just wanted to have my own kids.

“Hello cuties, how are you doing?”, I asked them.

The look on their face was priceless, they weren’t expecting that am sure they expected some scolding.

“Don’t worry I’m not angry at you. What are your names?” I asked.

The boy seemed to have recovered from the the shock, he answered me first, “I’m Kelvin and she is Kelsey.”

“Wow, what lovely names you have. How are you doing?”, I asked.

“We are fine thank you.” They answered.

The girl then followed with apology and explanation. “We are sorry, we were throwing the ball we weren’t paying attention, we thought we were the only ones here we didn’t see you there.” She said with her head down.

I got closer to her and told her to look up at me. When she looked up, I told her I’m not angry at them plus the ball didn’t hit hard, therefore there was no need to worry. I smiled at them.

“Can you play with us?”,she asked.

“Sure… Who are you here with?”

I was so engrossed in our conversation that I didn’t notice anyone approach.

“I’m with them and what’s going on here… Haven’t I told you to be careful with that thing. I turn around for a second and you go and cause problem” I looked up to see a young beautiful lady in her mid twenties.

I told her what happened, and there was no need for scolding them that I’m not hurt.

“Sorry for that, “she apologized,” I’m Arlie and you are?”

“I’m Kharly.”

“Momma can we play with her,” asked little Kelsey.

“Is it okay if you play with them? I’ve got some things to take care of, before you wonder, yh I trust you I don’t know why though. Even though I trust you don’t try anything funny.”

“Yeah sure, thank you.”

“Are re we good?”

“Yeah,” with that said. She left.

Well since I have no plan for being at the park, I might as well enjoy the opportunity thrown at me.

*1 hour later*

After an hour of throwing the ball, running around, climbing the monkey bars, swinging, sliding and others we were exhausted. We just sat on the grass to catch some air.

Wheww, that’s refreshing. I look around if I would find Arlie but I didn’t find her. I talked a little more with the children about their favorites but only Kelsey was responding. I then saw Kelvin starring to the right where there was a big tree.

I turned to look only to see Arlie coming from behind the big tree where a car just drove off from. She is holding a brown envelope. Coming towards us. She used her hand to wipe her eyes, called the children from a distance and gave me a thumbs up.

The children waved me and they left.

I sat there for a while taking in the beauty only nature can give that this park is presenting. After 20 minutes a lot of people have already left the park and others are still leaving so I also left for the house.

How I can’t wait for my best friend to come, they will surely regret leaving me here alone.

*Home now*

I showered, threw on some pjs, I went downstairs to eat. Yh, how can I ever leave food? That is surely some thing I can’t do for a long time. After enjoying my meal, I turned on the television looking for something interesting to watch after minutes of scrolling through channels I didn’t find anything so turned the television off and left for my room.

I turned on my bedtime Playlist, as soon as my head hit the pillow off to dream land I went.
