i rubbed my eyes as the sunlight peaked through my blinds, i stretched before doing my morning routine.
i slid into something more comfortable as i there some vans in and strolled to my taxi.

"Hey, beautiful." Ethan pecked my lips as we stood outside the building. i smiled, "were you really waiting for me out here?" i asked as we entered the building, locking hands. "yes, i was." He gripped my hand tighter and we went up to the third floor, we reached the lounge and stayed there for a while until Bryant spoke up "there's a car waiting for us down stairs, you guys ready?" me and Ethan nodded, "then let's get the show started."

"the pictures should be up in a few days, so keep your eyes open for it on the magazine somewhere." Bryant said as he scooped a spoonful of his ice cream "you nervous?" Ethan  looked at me and i rolled my eyes lightly slamming my palms against the table "why's everyone always asking me that, i said i'm not." "well, okay," He said as he looked away, "i'm sorry, it get's really annoying-" "i said Okay." he said before standing up and walking outside, i looked at Bryant. "what's wrong with him?" i ask as i looked down at my lap, feeling guilty "i don't know, he seemed pretty ticked off at the shoot too, is everything okay?" Bryant asked as he stuffed his face with biscuits "he was fine this morning," i said looking at him through the window "Oh." Bryant chuckled "what?" i asked and looking up at him to find him staring at a girl, much prettier than i am, no doubt. "who's that?" i asked as i looked back at Bryant "that's his ex girlfriend," "Oh," i said and he 'Yeah'd "she's a bitch," he said and i leaned back "she seems nice to me." i said as i crossed my arms "don't let her beauty dis-eve you,  Elise," "i'll go check on Ethan-" "no, let me." he hurriedly collected his ice cream and went out 'what's the rush? '  i thought, then i saw the girl i was staring at not so long ago sit across me, "So. you're Ethans new toy huh?" she spoke and my eyes widened "Excuse me?" i said in the politest way i could, "I'm Rachel," she gave me a disgusted look before continuing "if you think this is the last you'll see of me you're wrong, and tell Ethan i'll see you guys at the Party." was the last thing she said before getting up and walking out of the shop, my heart started to race as i explained to Ethan what she had said to me since he asked, i told him everything except the first thing she had said to me, he got up and said "Come, Elise let me walk you home-" "no, i can walk myself, i'll see you guys tomorrow." i kissed Ethans cheek and waved Bryant goodbye before walking and taking the bus home.

The party was big, The music blaring through the speakers, as soon as Ethan let go of me we went our separate ways, today we barley spoke like usual, he was acting so strange today, so i let him be. i started dancing until i bumped shoulders with someone. Rachel. "Nice to see you could make it," she hugged me, i hugged her back after a while "come outside with me?" she asked but i felt like it was more of a command, i nodded and followed her like a lost puppy.

"So why are we here?" i finally spoke up and she scoffed "you're with Ethan right?" i rolled my eyes "listen if you're here to interrogate me-" "right?" she asked through her teeth and i looked away "you don't know what you guys are?" she asked with such a melodramatic tone, "no." i answered honestly "oh, Honey no." she placed her palm against her chest "what?" "did he ever talk to you about me?" "honestly this was the first time i ever heard about you." "Oh that's funny because he was still seeing me while he was still 'seeing' you." she said and my heart dropped, at first i thought she was joking, until she started explaining herself "it's okay if you still want to see him, i mean-" i couldn't hear anymore, i felt sick to my stomach, this isn't how it's supposed to go, i've known Ethan for a month, and now this? it's too early.

i stormed back into the big party, somehow i found Ethan in less than a minute and slapped him across his face, his face drained with color and the music stopped as everyone stopped and stared at us "You Liar! you cheater!" i said as i pushed him back everyone gasped and i said "Don't even think about calling me, i'm leaving." i said as i walked out of the party.

"Momma?" i asked and sniffled and she let out a sigh of relief, this night was going to be  long one.
