Ok but since I have a little headcannon that Max plays the violin and is just a music geek in general but doesn't want to admit it, I thought of this little scenario:
Max in music class at school and being extremely fascinated by all the instruments in the room. He gets extremely nervous when asked to play an instrument however, because he feels he'll get made fun of for it. But he does end up playing the violin for the whole class, and to his surprise, he actually gets cheered on and people love his talent. Nikki and Neil constantly talk about how good of a player he is but Max just denies it.
