I was looking out on a bridge and talking to Hermione and harry. I really wasn't listening, I zoned out and was thinking about, how to ask cedric about the dance and stuff, but what cut off by Hermione.
"Well...?" She asked
"Well, what?" I questioned and she rolled her eyes, harry scoffed and earned a glare from me, wiping that smirk of his face.
"Do, you know anything about the second task and that annoying golden egg?" My eyes widened realizing that I haven't gotten a bloody thing from it. I looked down shaking my head no, sheepishly and she let out a frustrated sigh. I zoned out again not listening to what she had to say, but that was cut short again, as a really good looking Cedric Diggory came up to us. Now is my chance.
"Hey potter... Nez." He said to and blushed looking at me... SO cute!
"Cedric" harry said
" how are you?" He said mainly to harry, I was a little hurt
"Spectacular" he said, the boy lies!!! Hehe.
Then he looked at me.. Oh there it is. I reply with
"Good... I need to talk to you after, what ever you have to say" I said crossing my arms over my chest, trying to look intimidating, but he just smiled... Oh... That smile. My 'intimidating' layer gave away and I practically melted, a blush crawling up to my cheeks. I looked at Harry,who was scowling. Cedric started talking again
"Look, I realise I never really thanked you properly for tipping me off about those dragons."
"Forget about it, I'm sure you would have done the same for me" said harry
"Exactly, you know the prefects bathroom on the fifth floor?" He asks both of us and we both nod "it's not a bad place for a bath. Just take you your egg and mull things over in the hot water." Me and harry look at him in a strange way, but then he just smirks and grabs my hand taking me away from Harry.
" take your egg and mull things over in hot water huh, I ain't no ravenclaw, what do you mean?" I ask him confused
" you'll have to find out your self... Anyways so... The yule ball." Oh he's starting that conversation.
"Yeah... Um..." I start messing around with my hair
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He blurted out. I stood there mouth agape, looking into his stormy grey eyes. Was he serious? I mean... He's like three years older than me though... Ah! Who cares! I really like him and you only live once right? "Sorry... If... You don't-" I cut him off with a kiss.
"YES!" I breath out and we both start grinning. "Oh... And thank you for the Christmas present, I got you something but its in my dorm, come with me so I can get it?" He smiled nodding, so I did so.

When the day was over and I thought, I should really get to the prefect's bathroom so I can find out the next clue... Tonight.
