Spider-Man No More.

  It was a shinny morning for everyone in New York,for everyone except our young hero,Peter Parker.Just yesterday he lost his Aunt May in a battle against the Green Goblin. His aunt was the only real family he had left,and now she was gone. Peter was wearing a black suit,he was at his Aunt's funeral. A lot of familiar faces were there too,Mary Jane,Harry Osborn even his school rival Flash Tomphson was there to pay his respect.Peter also noticed that all of the heroes he ever worked with were there,all with their masks off. The Avengers and the Fantastic Four,even the Heroes for Hire,Luke Cage and Danny Rand were there.But Peter didn't say a word.He was just sitting there,in front of his Aunt's grave ,they burried her right next to her husband,Peter's Uncle Ben. Peter then felt a hand touching his shoulder,It was Tony Stark,The Invincible Iron Man.

- "How are you hanging kid?." Tony said with comfort. 
-"I am doing fine,I guess. Thank you for paying for the funeral Mr.Stark." Peter said in a sad and broken voice. 
- "Don't thank me.I also wanted to tell you..I don't want you to be alone in your apartment.I am offering you a place to live in the Avengers Tower." Tony said while he took his sun glasses off. 
-That's...that's really nice of you Tony but..you've done enough to help me. I am on my own now. 
- No you are not. Kid listen to me. You see all these people who came here today? They all took their masks off and came here to support you not because you saved them once in the battlefield,but because they love you and respect you as a human.That's what I had to say,if you change your mind,the Tower is open for you. Then Tony hit him friendly on the shoulder and left. 

Peter kept looking at his Aunt's grave,people one by one were sooner or later leaving,but Peter didn't mind,he had no idea what was going on around him. All he could think of was his Aunt's last words, "don't give up",but how could he not give up? How could Peter keep doing what he was doing without the love and the support of his Aunt,he lost her forever,there was no way of getting her back. "Unless",Peter thought,"Reed Richard's time machine." Quickly he pulled out a piece of paper out of his pocket,the algorithm was written on that paper. "No,it's wrong,I shouldn't. That's not what heroes do." He thought of it for a while and said inside his teeth "But what have I done wrong to deserve something like that?" He then holded the paper tight and put it back in his pocket.

-"I am sorry Aunt May..I have to.I have to get you back,both of you". Peter said with tears in his eyes. 

Peter then started walking his way home,once he got there,he unlocked the door,walked in and while it was one of the sunniest days in New York,Peter's home was dark and brooding,empty and without life.At least that's how Peter felt it.He made his way up to his room with his head looking straight too,there were family pictures on the wall he did not want to see. Then he opened the door to his room,got in and looked the algorithm. 


One Week Later 

                                       The Baxter Building,Reed Richard's Lab.


Reed is holding today's newspaper,the title is written with big black letters saying "NO SIGN OF SPIDER-MAN FOR A WEEK,IS HE RETIRED? IS HE DEAD?" Reed sees that the picture of the paper is not taken by Peter Parker and he worries. Then he hears a familiar voice behind him. 

- "I did it,I solved the algorithm." Peter said with a weak voice. 

-"Peter,Are you alright? You definetly don't look good,have you been working on that algorithm the whole week? Did you have enough sleep and food?" Reed said worried. 

-"Don't ask Mr.Richards just..take this." He said and gave Reed a notebook with the algorithm solved. 

Reed takes a fast but good look at it,he is impressed. 

-"That's quite the brain you have there Peter,it's really impressive but...it bothers me to see you like that. Is there anything I can do to he-"

-"Just get the machine done,focus on your work. I'll be fine." Peter said  interrupting Reed. 

-"I'll have it ready tomorrow morning,it's not a big deal now that I have the algorithm. I suggest you get yourself something to eat..and get a good sleep tonight." Reed looked Peter as serious as it gets,but he was also worried. 
 
Peter looked away to avoid Reed. 

-"Will do Mr.Richards." he replied. 

After that talk Peter,for the first time in forever used the front gate to leave the building,he started walking on the streets of New York. At some point two police cars ran past Peter,Peter looked at them for a moment,but eventually,he looked down again and continued walking. He was Spider-Man no more. 


Two days later

There is a huge fight going on in New York,Doctor Doom has teamed up with Loki and Magneto with a plan of world domination,that means only one thing...Casual Tuesday in New York City.Yet everyone is there,The Avengers,The Fantastic Four,even The X-Men are there to stop them...but there's no sign of Spider-Man.Instead of fighting for the good of New York and the rest of the world,Peter is in Reed Richard's lab while he is out as Mister Fantastic fighting against Doctor Doom.Peter is staring at the time-machine,it was ready,Peter without a second thought went in the machine,het set the time at the night his Uncle Ben died,the booth closed and Peter was teleported out of there. A few moments passed and Peter was in his old body,in his old costume."What the..." he tought. 

"HEY! THIEF,STOP HIM! HE'S GOT MY MONEY!" Someone yelled. 

Peter then saw a guy with a gun on his left hand and a bug of money on the other running towards Peter. Then Peter thought. "Him. This night. This place.No..Not again." As the thief ran closer to Peter,Peter grabbed him,hold him against the wall and punched him so hard he fainted. Uncle Ben's death was prevented..but with that..Peter started losing his memories of his previous world.Nothing he lived after that night really happened..Everything was about to change..
