song: elijah who - sad and boujee

"Attention please, to attend the trip from Busan to Seoul, that is departing at 7:05AM, go to platform 3. For first class passengers, use sector A. For second and third class passengers, use sector B,C, and D."

Upon hearing the train announcement, Baekhyun quickly made his way to the said platform, entering from sector C. He took the seat near the closing door, next to an a young woman that was breastfeeding her baby girl. He put his bag on top of his lap, hugging it, not wanting to place it in the luggage area.

It was just the two of them, and around 4 other men on the train car, and as time passed, the place was full, and the vehicle was ready to depart.

"Attention passengers, this is your conductor speaking. We are going to leave to our destination in 40 seconds. Please take your seats."

When the train was finally in movement, Baekhyun took out his phone and earbuds, placing them on his ears and playing something from his library.

He rested his head on the window, sighing sadly. He stared at the outside world, falling in love with the blurry pictures of the green forrest they were passing next to, and the mixture of the different shades of yellow, orange, and baby blue that appeared in the sky. it was calming in a way, and it made the petite feel somehow positive— a capacity of doing the things he was planning to achieve was slowly building inside him.

He began thinking about his life in Seoul, and what he should do when he gets there. First, he would look for a small, and cheap apartment to stay in, until he can get more money to handle a bigger one. And then, he would look for a job.

and before he knew it, he fell asleep, finally getting the rest he couldn't have last night.

"excuse me young man," the petite, who was on the edge of waking up, heard a female voice say. "we already reached Seoul."

He opened his eyes, confused of his surroundings, but he quickly regained his memory when he recognized the women who was sitting next to him.

He thanked her, bowing afterwards, before holding his bag and making his way out.

he quickly ran out of the station, inspecting his surroundings.

it was currently 9:47AM, which meant that the shops could be already open. he could look for food, or even for a job.

He shivered when he felt snow fall on his nose, making him get goosebumps on his skin.

his eyes spotted a nearby coffee shop, and he took his time to scan its state. its size was moderate— the place wasn't small nor big. And it had a sign that showed its name, 'LOEY'S COFFEE HOUSE.'

Deciding to enter, he crossed the street, making his way to the entrance. As soon as he got inside the place, he sighed in satisfaction at the warm atmosphere, as well as the alluring aroma of the hot drink.

His eyes wandered around the place, noticing that most of the furniture claimed a beige or brown color, excluding the few blue accessories that were placed here and there. A few posters were attached to the wall, and he couldn't bother to read them.
