Alone i once stood: chapter3

'BEEP,BEEP,BEEP' my alarm clock started ringing. groaning i forced my self to get up. i dragged my feet across the floor to the bathroom. turning on the shower half awake. i yawned and stretched i was wearing my i love werewolves shorts shorts with my team Jacob shirt. my hair was crazy like if i was shot by lightening twenty times. i stripped from my clothes and entered the shower. i washed my hair with a strawberry-banana and apples shampoo.

When i finished i got out i smelled all fruity. i brushed my hair back and brushed my teeth. i went back to my room and got dressed tomorrow was school. so i had to wash my uniform. i took my school uniform and went down stairs our school colors were blue we wore a blue skirt that past our knees by an inch, a blue shirt and blue knee high stockings with black flats but i never listened i wore a mini plaid blue skirt that was the same length as the original school skirt i wore the blue shirt and a dark blue tie with white knee socks and my black chucks.

I put all my clothes in the washer machine and turned it on. i went back upstairs to get ready for the dentist. i put on some black skinny jeans and a black shirt that was Rip at the shoulders i put on some black flats and brushed my hair into a high ponytail. i grabbed my house keys and walked out the door. once i arrived at the dentist i walked up to Max the receptionist at the dentist. "Hey Max" i said waving. "Oh hey Yasmin" he said.

Max was a year older then me he had brown and the classic emo hair style and green eyes he was one of my friends but we never hung out. i had another friend name Alex he was another one of my emo friends he had the same classic emo hair as Max but his was black hair and he work as a piercing artist i was gonna go see him later. he was eight-teen too and had snake bites with blue eyes i had a little crush on him. "So you ready to get your braces off?" Max said smiling to me. "yeah i had these on for two years" i said happy to finally get them off.

"You going to visit Alex later?" He said looking a little disappointed. "yeah" i said looking at the wall clock behind me. "cool" he said signing some papers. "great two hours will be fine i think Alex gets out at that time too" i said now leaning on the counter. "okay well the Mr.Jones will see you now" he said. "okay Max i will see you later" i said standing straight and entering the office. "well good afternoon Ms.Ortiz" Dr.Jones said ushering me  to sit in the chair. i walked over and placed my self on the chair he laid it back. "say ah" he said with a smile Dr.Jones was a white man with brown eyes and was in his late forties at least. and brown slicked back hair.

I opened my mouth and let him probe the insides of my mouth. "well every thing seems perfect and we can get your braces off " he said turning on the laughing gas. he placed the mouth piece over my mouth. i began to get numb and he took a  hook shaped metal needle and began to scrape the inside of my mouth. i was so on cloud nine right now that i took a nap.

I was in a field and Alex, Max and Carlos "hey what are you guys doing here?" i said they looked at me and disappeared slowly. "hey! wait where are going" i called out. soon i was falling from the sky. "no!" i screamed as i got closer to the ground i noticed water and i was headed straight for it.  i hit  the water and dove deep under the water. dolphins appeared and swam with me. soon i was on land and every thing started shaking. and a bright light blinded me i closed them and held a hand to block the sun i slowly opened my eyes and was back in the dentist office. "well you had quiet the nap" Dr.Jones said chuckling " i gave a weak laugh. "well your done here you can go" he said washing his hand. i got up from the blue chair i was sitting in. "oh and here a retainer use it at night and make sure you floss and brush" he said. "okay will do" i said taking the retainer and putting the bag in my little black purse. i walked out the office. "so let me see" Max said.  i flashed him a smile.

"Nice" he said "thanks" i said smiling "so i'll see you next time" he said "OK well see ya" i said waving bye and leaving. i walked nine blocks and came up to ink and rings. it was a tattoo and piercing parlor. i walked in and saw Alex at the counter looking at tattoo and new piercing magazine. "hey their what you doing" i said although i already knew "oh hey" he said in a hot tone. "so what brings you by?" "just wanted to say hi" i said smiling " oh cool your braces are off" he said smiling "yup" i said running my tongue over my teeth. "when you get them off?" he said with a raised eyebrow. i never saw his eye piercing before must be new.

"Just now. hey that's new" i said pointing to the eyebrow ring. "cool and yeah i got it done three days ago" "nice" i said. "so what happened to your glasses?" "they broke" i said shrugging. "man what a drag" he said standing up now. "it's what ever i let the kids in school tease me and be mean but after today i'm a new person " i said to him Alex knew about everything that's happened and whats happening. "well then lets add something to take your new bad ass emo self up a natch" he said laughing "OK" i said he took me to a chair. i sat down  how bout some snake bites?" he said "um no something smaller" i said. "okay snake bits?" he said " um...yeah"  i said "alright" he said smiling.

And leaned me back he took three needles and stuck them through my bottom right side lip. after forever he finished and handed me a mirror to take a look. i looked at my lip it was a little red. "just clean it every day and it will be good" he said. "okay" i said getting up paying him and leaving when i got home it was five already. i was out all day.  "my clothes" i said and ran downstairs to the laundry room i took the clothes out and put them in the dryer.i went upstairs i heard the front door open and close i looked up and saw my dad sober for once. "what are you doing home?" i said shutting the basement door.

"I finished what i had to do so they allowed me to leave early" he said looking at me. my dad had the same skin tone as me, brown eyes and  black slicked back hair. "whats that on your face and what happened to your glasses?" he said i had to come up with a lie and quick or he would be really mad i always lied to my dad it at times was the only way for us and him to protect him. "dad you let me get it because you broke my glasses three days ago" i said hoping he would believe me. "oh right" he said rubbing his temples. okay well i'm going to sleep i got a date later on tonight " he said going upstairs. "with who?" i said "beer and a beautiful lady i met the other leaving work"he said "oh" i said in a whisper. "okay  well have fun later dad" i said walking into the kitchen. i grabbed a bowl and went in the fridge and grabbed a packet of salad. i poured some in a bowl and went to sit down its been two days since my encounter with Carlos.

I walked to the living room and sat on the couch. i watched t.v for five hours. It was now ten-thirty i went down stairs to get my school clothes. once i got them i went upstairs to my and laid them down on my dresser i walked over to my bed and drifted off to a nice and wonderful peaceful sleep with unicorns and monkeys, rainbows and glitter. i wished i had a dream of that  then the werewolf attacking me and ripping me to shreds. i woke up sweating i looked at my alarm clock it was three in the morning. i sighed and threw my myself back down on my pillow and went back to sleep.
