Chapter 14

Amara's Nightmare

As I sprinted through the dark and uninviting forest, my mind was racing faster than my feet. Twigs and branches assailed my face as we frantically tried to assess my situation. Where would I go? Who could help me ? I could barely see a few feet ahead of me. It was impossible to know what could be waiting for me in this perilous and primeval. Then
suddenly, I stopped. What was it that I had just heard? The snapping of a twig, perhaps - but I was in a forest; there was nothing to worry about, rationalized. This noise had appeared peculiar to me, though that's meant that Nate and her troops found me.

I kept running through the forest trying to find Liam, so far no luck. I kept running and running until I trip on a branch I sat up trying get free but I couldn't. Thought to myself ( is this the end of me?) then I saw shadow coming forward and I didn't have weapon on me, so I grabbed the closes thing to me a big tree branch. I said " Come out who ever you are" and he came out of hiding and I gasped " Liam" and he help me up, I hugged him. Then he said " My princess you're okay" and I laughed and said " yes, I'm okay".

He gave me passionate kiss, we pulled way and laid our foreheads against each other. At the moment he saw Nate behind me. His eyes went wide and he grabbed my hand and we started running. He kept ruining and I kept ruining behind him, he looked back,unsure, a couple of times he kept going one step ahead of me.

Almost out a hand reach and snatches me back,pulling me into the darkness.

"Now you're mine"

I yelled "Nooooooooo!"

I woke up and looked around I couldn't see anything it was pitch black. I tried to move put I couldn't move, I looked up and I saw my hand changed up and my neck felt like it was
burning. I thought to myself ( were am I, what happened last night), then it hit me Liam and I were at the Ball and Lylah and Nate found us. We escape and we hide in tree. He was telling me why he dates Lylah. Then he kissed me and he marked me, then Lylah found us.

Lylah took way Liam and someone picked me up. Then I heard Lylah say " injected her Nate", I screamed in pain then I slowly drafting to darkness. I whispered Liam's name and that last before the darkness took over, I heard Liam's voice calling out to me. I tried to sit myself free but I couldn't and I tried to pull down on the chain but they didn't fall down. Then I heard someone laughing from a distance, I said " Show you're self coward!".

They kept laughed and I said " Show you're self or come to the light". Then I saw shadow coming up to me,then they stop front of me. I gasped they said " What's wrong my princess, cat got your tough" and I replied with " Nate!". Nate chuckled at me and said " In the flesh my dear, now let's get you ready" and he smirked. He disappeared I don't know we're, I was left alone in dark until I herded a door open.

I looked to my right and I saw door open and then Nate came up to me. He looked up at me, eyeing my body and I felt goosebumps going down my spine. He said " you're mine now Amara, put her down!". I felt my feet hit the ground and Nate unlocked me and he sit the chains down, I looked down and my wrists had bruises on them. Then he grabbed me roughly by the hand and said " Don't even think of escaping Amara!", he chuckled and kissed me roughly.

He pushed to the wall and grabbed my hands and tied them together. He then blind folded me, then he guided me to know we're what. I heard people working and machines, then we stopped and he throw me and said " get her ready and leave her in the balcony window". I heard someone say " right way your highness". Then I heard someone walk over to me and untied me, took the blind fold off of me.

She looked around my age, she had brown hair and brown eyes, she very beautiful. She said " I'm so sorry how he treats you, my name is Nancy LockWood there you go you are free". I saw that I was in a room with grey walls and we were sitting on chairs.
