Chapter 12

Amara point of view

Once I was walking down the staircase I made it at the bottom. Someone held my hand and we locked arms, until I felt a spark. I didn't want to look, My wolf Amera wanted to take control but I didn't let her. But he took me the dance floor and the music started to play. I dance with my partner He guided me across the dance floor as we stared to  dance, we dance in sync with music and He troweled me around and we started dancing to the music in that was when I decided to let go. Let my worries, my pain, and sorrow go.

Right here, right now I was living. Nothing else seemed to matter anymore; I allowed him to take me anywhere he  pleased on this dance floor. He went right, I went right. He sped up, I sped up. We became one with the song, with the dance and with each other. We continue like that until we had to separate, though I was sad to be away from his  warmth.

When the song ended the audiences' applause filled our ears. I couldn't help but smile at him . In that very hour I wondered why I didn't see it before.  He was the one for me. In my eyes, and because of that dance, I can see how perfect he  truly is. He pulled me to the side and  said to me "May I ask you who you are behind that beautiful mask of yours?"  I just smiled and shook my head and said " you may not" and I laughed and He took off his  mask I said "Liam " in shock  voice. Then the unexpected happened we were under attack by unknown pack. Then someone opened the door and said

" Where is she, no body leaves and no body gets killed"

I whispered " Oh no" and I wanted to run but couldn't move. Liam stood front of me, his wolf is taking over him I grabbed his hand gave tight squeeze to make sure his wolf doesn't take over him. He need to be in control right now, I looked at him and he looked at me I knew wanted me to run. I whispered " were in this together, I'm your mate I'm not leaving you" and he smiled and replied " okay, stay behind me all times okay" and I nodded. I open my fan and started fanning myself.

Then Liam said " who are you people?, what do you want from my pack" and the person laughed replied back with " Wow, Liam that  hurts me, you don't recognize you're own mate". Liam said " Lylah!, you're not my mate!" And Lylah laughed came into the light she was wearing a red dresses her hair was down, she was making her way down to meet Liam. She made it were Liam was standing, she circled around Liam like he was her pray. Then Liam spoke " what do you want Lylah?".  Then she smirked and came closer to Liam I wanted to growl but I had to bit my lips so it won't escape from my mouth.

Lylah said " I want you to be mine, like said before I will have you Liam that Amara girl will pay that she stole you from me"  and Liam took step back, I took step back to mimic his movement. Liam said " Lylah your not hurting my mate!" And Lylah just laughed and came closer and said " Nate!, come out and get his precious mate" and that's when I felt  something grab me from behind. I screamed and said " let go of me, let go of me you bloodsucker".  Then Liam said " No!don't touch her" that's when his wolf took over him.

Lylah just laughed front of Liam, Nate grabbed me and he tiled my head to side. Then Lylah spoke " You're so called precious mate that you haven't marked yet, she will be marked by Nate" and I looked at Liam. I thought to myself ( she can't do this can she!?. My wolf replied No she can't and Nate can't mark you).  I wanted to do something but Nate was holding my hands, with other hand he was tilting my head.  Then Nate spoke " I will mark her and she will be mine and only mine" and then I felt something sharp against my skin.

Liam yelled " No!" and he punched Nate and he grabbed my hand. We we're running I looked back and Lylah shouted " GET THEM!". We ran outside and Liam looked both ways trying to say to escape, he ran towards the forest. We ran and ran until we stopped, I said " why is she after me Liam!?". Liam sighed and said " She after you because of me" and I just looked at him.

Then he said " they found us" and he grabbed my hand once again and ran again. We ran and ran until Liam said " I think we lost then" and I let go of his hand. I thought to myself ( if she after me because of Liam, then why attack now). I got snapped out my thoughts when Liam said " Are you okay" and I said " yeah, I'm fine" I lied. I wasn't find, I'm being hunted by his ex. Then Liam came closer to me and grabbed my hands I looked the other way to avoid his eyes.

Then I felt his hand on my cheek, he said " Hey please princess look at me" and I just ignored him kept looking at the moon. Then he cupped my cheeks with his hand and said " Amara I'm sorry this happening to you, I shouldn't have dated someone behind you're back" and I said " Yeah! You shouldn't have dated someone else. Liam why did you date her". He sighed and said " I dated her because right after my mother died, I wanted someone to love". He continued saying " After she died my father wanted to date someone. I knew I couldn't date anyone because I knew my mate was out there somewhere. Then my father introduced Lylah to me and he wanted to me to date her.

" After he introduced me to her, he started controlling me. He wanted me to date her because she was powerful girl." I just stayed quit and he continued with his story. " After months we dated and my father had passed way, I left the castle with few man of mine. We heard about the Werewolf ceremony that's being held at Moon Vally kingdom." I said " so that's why you came to my kingdom" and he nodded his head agreement. Then he spoke again " so we were outside of your kingdom, until something caught my eye" and I smiled at him. He smiled back " so I walked over to the window then I saw the most beautiful girl and I knew she was my mate" and I looked down blushed.

He chuckled and " so I felt connected to her and I just kept staring at her, then she saw me I felt like we were only two people in the world" I smiled. I said " I know what happens, so that's why you date her" and he said " yeah, but I never fell in love her. I only had one heart and I was saving it for you". I smiled and replied "aw how sweet I never the big bad Alpha can be so sweet" . Liam replied " this big bad Alpha is lot of things when it comes to its queen" and I laughed and he came closer to me.

For a moment, I  thought maybe he was angry because what I said , but before I could ponder it further, he yanked me  to him and covered my mouth with his in a hungry kiss, I knew his wolf was in control. I responded immediately, surprising myself, then my wolf took control. His mouth was so warm, the caress of his lips softer than I  could have imagined. He tasted tentatively with his tongue, and I opened my mouth with a low moan. Liam chuckled and said " you're gonna be mine" and I was about to say something until he kissed me roughly.

Then the unexpected happened and he marked me. Then Lylah found us, Liam said something to me but I wouldn't hear it because I was slowly drafting to darkness. I saw them taking Liam and Liam yelling my name, until someone picked me up and then other person spoke " injected her Nate, sweet dreams Amara".  I whispered " Liam"  and then I felt something sharp and I screamed because of the pain.  The last thing I heard " Amara!".

I drafted to darkness
