"Azura, hey… wake up, come on".
I awoke after hearing a gentle voice, my body was aching. I wanted to go back to sleep, and forget all the pain, but I can't always run away from my problems. Sometimes you have to face things head on, with a smile on your face. That's what my parents used to say when they were still alive.

"Azura… are you awake"?
I slowly opened a quarter of my eyes, and I wasn't surprised to see my older brother - Aaron.

"H-hey, Aaron… are you okay"?
I didn't know what to say, I didn't understand why he was so worried.
"Azura, your awake, I thought you died, don't worry though, I beat Ace to a pulp. I made him pay for what he did".

I finally managed to open my eyes the entire way. My head still ached from everything that had happened, so it took me some time to process what Aaron just said.

He looked worried, a state of fear, panic, and anger were displayed on his face. His olive skin was covered with scars and bruises from his guard training camp. His shortly cut dark brown hair was drenched with sweat. His faded blue t-shirt was torn across his chest. His light gray eyes revealed my reflection, it looked as though I was in a fight.

All of a sudden my thoughts on Aaron's appearance as well as mine cleared after I realized what he had just said.
"Aaron! You hurt Ace"?

Aaron's face suddenly filled with anger.
"Azura, whatever he did to you… thats exactly what I did to him".

Whatever Aaron had felt before, I think I'm feeling it now.
"Aaron, you're aware that Ace has been through a lot. Honestly you shouldn't have stooped down to his level. He was just looking out for his brother".

"Azura"! His tone changed, he began growling as he spoke.
"He tried killing you, if I didn't step in when I did. Y-you would have…".

I felt guilty. Was I the cause of everything that happens around here? It sure did seem like it at the time.
"Aaron… just tell me where he is".
He frowned
"He's in the twenty-sixth room on the fourth arc".
He left after telling me the room number. I knew where he was headed, so it meant he was going to be fine.

I slowly got up from the hospital bed. The moment I laid my feet on the brown wooden floor, a sudden pain flowed through me. I flinched, but managed to hold on to the black chair Aaron was seated on earlier.

After regaining my balance, I realized how small the room was. There was a small wooden dresser an inch to the right side of the neatly made bed I was on. To the left was a white metallic door that blended easily with the plain white walls. There were no windows, but above my head there was a roof of glass. It allowed beautiful morning rays to come through.

I smiled, the world truly was beautiful. Everything in our universe is here for a purpose, everything worked together in harmony. Just as this glass roof allowed sun light to come through, and as I had seen the sunlight which reminded me of my own purpose.

My purpose was what Aaron told me was different it was unusual compared to other's. I only wanted everyone to be happy, for everyone to smile.

At that very moment, I remembered how happy Ace seemed when he punched me. Not to mention how happy Damian was to hear my stories.

The world truly was a great place, I managed to make two people smile, only by trying to amuse one. Aaron told me that what I thought my purpose was, happened to be dangerous for me.

My parents would have been happy.
I felt proud.
