Whispers Of The Void

Chapter 1

"Darktide was a name feared from centuries starting as early as the Tribal Wars up until today. They were known for cruel things. To them murder was a joke, child's play. People born into their clan were capable of killing even before they had understood what murder was. They grew up to be horrible people that were extremely influential in the way the nine planets of Akir had progressed. There would've been no darkness if it hadn't been for them.

There was also the polar opposite to Darktide. They were known as the Lightwave clan.

The strange names were created because of events that had happened that were caused by both clans.

Back in the sixteen hundreds, eight out of the nine planets had been ruled by The Emperor of Destruction, Akir. His family continued to rule up until the nineteen hundreds.

A young rebel had risen from the followers of Akir. Her name was Dawn, and coincidentally she was the dawn of light in the universe. A dark past was what she had to face, and yet she gathered the courage to fight Akir's family reign.

She transferred her courage into the hearts of many. And then-".

While I was in the middle of narrating the story, I was interrupted by harsh voices from behind me.
"Hey Azura, quit tellin my brother your stupid stories".

I turned around to find myself face to face with Ace. He was a couple inches taller than me, with platinum blonde hair, pale white skin, and furious green eyes. He had sharp violent features and a massive build. His strength was what made him the male alpha of the werewolves in our village pack.

"S-sorry I was just telling him about the history of-".
He stopped me before I could finish.
"Shut up you little worm, don't you dare turn Damian into a wimp like you"!

With that, he punched me hard, straight at my face mainly under my left eye.
The impact made me fall back. It didn't take me long to realize there was a stack of bricks behind me.
The entire backside of my body crashed into the pile. It felt like my insides exploded. I threw up, blood came bursting out of my mouth. My entire body felt pain, it was unbearable.

My body was falling forward, I knew I would collapse and hit the concrete, I've never felt so weak. My vision blurred slowly but steadily, I heard faint sounds of people yelling around me.

Then my eyes closed, and I hit the ground.
