As the group tred through the forest, Vledz started to feel nervous, and he kept asking himself if he had made the right descision. His past wasn't so great when it came to making choices.
As Vledz pondered on these thoughts, he found that they had arrived at the first pack they would be talking to.
"Alright. We need to stay reasonable. We aren't here to fight," Darox reminded them. "You are only here as backup."
Vledz nodded, while Fosleet muttered her agreement.
Darox hesitated before howling, making the pack aware that they were there.
A green wolf slunk out of the enterance to the hollow, where the other pack lived.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Darox. Have you finally surrendered?" The green wolf licked his paw. "After all, we won the little war we had going on between us."
Darox gritted his teeth, clearly trying to stop himself from biting the green wolf. "Cosnert, bear with me here. I come in peace."
Cosnert opened his mouth, probably to insert a sarcastic comment, but Darox continued.
"The shadow pack has rose to their peak of strength. My pack alone can not defeat them. So I have come to you, and I request that you help get rid of the shadow pack."
Cosnert sat down. "So you want me to help you because you need it. Out of the blue, as well. I don't wish to help someone who was an enemy for so long." Cosnert was trying to sound
defiant, but his eyes told a different story.Darox's eyes darkened. "Cosnert, we have seen what the shadow pack can do. If we don't defeat them, they will defeat us. We have to work together."
Cosnert scuffed his paw in the dirt. "Discussion with my pack is nessicary. Go home, now. I will send a few wolves from my pack to give a response."
"With all great respect, Cosnert, please be quick with your dissicion. Time is running out.
